Jake's last Mixed Martial Arts fight. Düsseldorf, Germany. Tuesday 26th March.
Düsseldorf, Germany where the country wasn't really well-known for the Mixed Martial Arts sport but this young guy certainly was making an impact in the sport but the problem was that Jake was getting bored with Mixed Martial Arts and he actually wanted to enter in the wrestling business again. Tonight was Jake's last official fight against a German guy called Lukas Hahn who he respected a lot as a fighter over the past few years.
In the Octagon both fighters were ready to fight as they threw punches and kicks towards each other. Jake had an advantage as he was the most experienced fighter in the match and a few minutes later. Jake used his wrestling skills to take Lukas down to the ground going into a submission hold with a guillotine choke which Lukas taps out to with Jake winning the match with his hand-held up by the referee.
After Jake got out of the Octagon to head towards his locker and training room. He got stopped by a wrestling promoter knowing as Jake had been in a lot of talks lately on which wrestling company that he should join as he begins to speak to the promoter.
Jake Raab: Hi there. What's your name?
Wrestling promoter: My name is Derrick Smith coming from a company called Code Red Wrestling. I heard that you been considering a move to professional wrestling am I correct?
Jake Raab: Yes I have because I done everything I needed to do in this sport from winning titles to even facing the best fighters in the world.
Derrick Smith: I saw your match in the tag match last year against the other contestants in that Cutthroat competition you did and I was really impressed with your skills when you wrestled. I can suggest one company I know that would love to have you wrestle.
Jake Raab: That is where?
Derrick Smith: Code Red Wrestling. It's a fantastic company with a lot of talent that I feel is perfect for your style of wrestling.
Jake Raab: Funny enough. I have looked at them as of late and I have to agree that it is a great company but one of the most well-known promotions out there out of all the ones that I've looked at.
Derrick smiled at Jake as he knew that it was highly likely that he is going to accept to join Code Red Wrestling company but he had to double-check with Jake if that's the company that he will join.
Derrick Smith: You sound like that you want to join Code Red Wrestling. Do you want to?
Although Jake was looking at other companies with another company being his top choice but the one he was really looking at recently closed down.
Jake Raab: You know what. I do want to join the company yes because they have the best wrestlers in the world.
Derrick Smith: That's great Jake. Just sign your contract within the next couple of days and then you are in the company. You should have your first match straight after the Vendetta Pay Per View.
Jake Raab: I will sign a wrestling contract to Code Red Wrestling as soon as I get back to America to wrestle again.
Derrick Smith: Welcome to Code Red Wrestling and I wish you all the best of luck with whatever you do in the company.
Jake Raab: Thank you. I got to go now though because I need to do a lot of interviews about my retirement from the sport and getting changed to head on home.
Derrick Smith: Of course I understand that. I see you soon Jake and it's nice chatting to you.
Jake Raab: It's nice to see you too Derrick.
Jake then ended up getting all the interviewers blocking his view to his locker room because they wanted to interview him with his last fight he did as it was big news in Germany as he done a few interviews before getting changed and thanking his trainers for all the hard work they have given him over the years and leaves the arena to head towards a new path of becoming a professional wrestler.
Stars Of The Future Wrestling Academy. Seattle, Washington. Thursday 11th April.
Jake had to go back to square one on getting his wrestling skills up to date as it was just a year ago that he last wrestled professionally anywhere. He didn't get a chance that well in the Cutthroat tournament that happened in a different company but now he can prove himself more of a star.
There was one problem that Jake has to really overcome and that's the fact that everyone is going to think that he and Stefan are alike. While Stefan had a lot of problems dealing with his anger issues, trusting people and his personality disorders. Jake was more of a laid back guy that was always happy and he respected all the wrestlers that were in the business for who they are.
The Cameras see that Jake was doing German suplex's and doing his usual MMA style of fighting that he was used to doing and he also did a lot of Brain busters and DDT's so he could be ready as best he can to be in the first professional wrestling match of his life against two wrestlers that were a lot more experienced than he was with a female wrestler called Kalamity and another well-known name John Doe.
He had to take a break from training because he has wrestled non stop since he got to the Academy at eight in the morning and while he goes outside of the gym. Jake begins to speak about the match.
Jake Raab: What an awesome place for me to start my full-time wrestling career than CRW hey? I've met some really awesome people and they have been so nice to me that I didn't think it was possible for people in the wrestling business to be so nice before I made my début in the company. It's nice that I get a chance to wrestle against the best wrestlers in the world showing off my wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts skills.
Jake looked at the sky with a smile on his face because he was happy to be in a wrestling company and he continues to speak.
Jake Raab: I guess I'll start on introducing myself. I'm Jake Raab coming from Düsseldorf, Germany and I am Stefan Raab's cousin. I have done some wrestling before last year when I was in a tournament over in another company called Cutthroat where it was new wrestlers wanted to start their career in the sport but that never fully took off as it had to be cancelled because the owner of the company was too busy to run the tournament. I did however have one match out of it being a tag match between the guys and the girls which us guys won and no other matches after that.
People were seeing a different Raab in the wrestling business as he opened a bottle of water and drank it as he then continued to speak.
Jake Raab: I know people are going to start comparing me to Stefan but let me tell you all something. I respect each one of you and I'm more laid back than he is and I never ever start fights with people on twitter because unlike him I actually do want friends in the wrestling business. I do wrestle to gain respect as well because I aim to be the nicest guy that people have ever seen. I don't want to be like the rest of the German wrestlers that I've seen in the past to piss people off and saying how shit America is when actually I love the country and I'm actually glad to be back wrestling in front of the fans that love the sport just as much as the other wrestlers do in the back.
Jake was hoping that he would be seen as a different person and not thinking that the Raab family were the same. Jake thought about what he was going to say next as he had to talk about his opponents that were in the match.
Jake Raab: OK so I move to the next thing I have to talk about and that's my opponents that I'm facing of John Doe and Kalamity but I think we start with John Doe since he's the most well-known wrestler in the match up. From what I've heard that John has some psychological issues going on and he's somewhat a legend in the business. I like that I am going to be facing a great guy that has a lot of experience within the wrestling business because I know that I will gain a lot of it from this guy but the thing I have about him is that is he going to bring everything to this match?
Jake drank his water for a bit.
Jake Raab: I like to think that he does because I've seen this guy in the ring and he's amazing but I feel that he's not going to bring much into the match because he might think that me and Kalamity may not be a threat to him. I can change that though because I have gained so much wrestling skills since I been at this academy place and I know that I am ready for the challenge that lies ahead of me. The pressure is more on you than me because of the status you have already gained here since you started in CRW while I haven't even wrestled full time anywhere as of yet.
Jake didn't really want to trash talk to any of his opponents because he didn't know them that well nor have they as far as Jake knows haven't said anything about him yet so it was just mostly him talking about his opponents and the match as well.
Jake Raab: You also have a manager that walks with you that acts like he's your doctor or something like that don't you John? Of course it's nice that people support you at ringside but I know a lot about how much that they can cost you to win matches sometimes interrupting matches and they might hit you by accident so you might want to reconsider on having a manager with you at ringside and wrestle to the best you can.
Jake finished talking about John Doe as he moved to the next opponent he was facing with Kalamity.
Jake Raab: I see that Kalamity has had a few matches since she started in CRW and she's classed as a rookie like me so thankfully I'm not the only rookie in the match. You are an impressive wrestler as well so I won't take that away from you but you kind of seem like John Doe as well having some problems as well while for me. I have no problems at all even though I should do being a new wrestler and all but I won't let that get to me because I don't want to cost myself a win for the upcoming triple threat match.
Jake went to sat on the grass looking at the wrestling academy imagining that he was looking at the arena that he was wrestling at on Sunday night for Code Red Wrestling.
Jake Raab: What impresses me more is the fact that you are a female wrestler that is brave enough to wrestle against me and John because I know some female wrestlers that wouldn't want to step into the ring against the male wrestlers. That earns a lot of my respect for doing something brave like that and it's proven in the past that some female wrestlers have defeated male wrestlers especially in these sorts of matches. I'm not counting you out at all whatsoever on you beating me or John in this match Kalamity but you can't underestimate me either since rookies can come out of nowhere not being well-known and win matches that way too.
Jake knew that he had to talk more about Kalamity as he already talked a lot about John as he continued to do so.
Jake Raab: I don't know that much about you Kalamity I got to admit as you are fairly new to the company as I said to you before but you haven't yet made an impact in the business like I haven't either but I'm sure that you can produce the best wrestling that you can give for the match. I want you to prove to me that you can wrestle me pushing to my limits that no wrestlers have gone before and that goes with John as well.
Jake had a smile on his face because he was happy and that he was in the wrestling business again as he continued to speak.
Jake Raab: I'm really am looking forward on making an impact in the company because I need to show people who I plan to stay in CRW for a very long time and that I really do want to wrestle against the best in the world. See throughout the entire time I was talking about the match that not once did I say anything bad towards you both because there is no need for me to do that when I don't know either one of you apart from your skills in the ring. I don't care about winning titles. I care more about producing my wrestling skills in front of the fans and making the most of it by them cheering for me and making an impact. That's what's important more than anything else in the world.
Jake was going to say his last few words on the match before he goes back in the wrestling school to learn more wrestling moves.
Jake Raab: I wish all of you both the best of luck when we are wrestling against each other in the ring because we all wrestle for the fans no matter if they love or hate us. Without them there would be no Code Red Wrestling or the sport in general and I'm going to do everything I can to win my first match in the company making Talon proud that I put in the effort to wrestle regardless if I win or lose the match. Also I want to prove to everyone that knows Stefan that I'm completely different to him and that I actually do care about the fans and respect other wrestlers in this company. See you both in the ring on Sunday night and let the best man and woman win this match.
Jake then goes back inside of the wrestling school to learn more moves in the ring.
