After the Kalamity/John Doe match. Bronx, New York. Sunday April 14th.
After Jake's win against Kalamity and John Doe in a triple threat match. Derrick Smith came up to him while Jake was walking back to his locker room as he clapped on his performance in the ring as he begins to speak to him.
Derrick Smith: Congratulations on your first win in wrestling Jake.
Jake Raab: Thank you very much.
Derrick Smith: Who would've thought that you got your first win in Code Red Wrestling? I never saw that coming at all.
Jake Raab: Me either to be honest but I guess that's what hard work does for you when you are training as well as wrestling at the same time at a wrestling school.
Derrick Smith: Now with this win. I have a feeling that your going to face against a top star in CRW.
Jake Raab: No don't be silly. It was only one win. I highly doubt that I will get a top rated match and be nowhere near the main event value type match.
Derrick Smith: You just never know in this business Jake especially in CRW that usually you get a top rated match after you won your first match.
Jake Raab: Hopefully Talon can see that I made him proud that night and the fans went home happy. That's the main thing I wanted to do out of that match. I didn't care about winning or losing the match as long as the fans went home happy.
Derrick Smith: That's the spirit I wanted to hear from a guy like you. For a rookie wrestler. You seemed like you knew what you was doing in the ring and felt comfortable out there tonight.
Jake had a smile on his face knowing that he had impressed Derrick at least who was the CRW agent that saw talent in Jake and talented he was.
Jake Raab: I feel more at home in CRW than anywhere else I've worked before in the wrestling business.
Derrick Smith: That's a great thing to hear. I let you go and get changed so I will see you soon.
Jake Raab: I guess we will Derrick. See you around.
Jake then went into his locker room to get changed with his confidence at an all time high as he already felt at home in Code Red Wrestling looking forward to his next match against whoever his opponent will be in two weeks time as he packs his things up to go back home in Germany.
Magic tricks. Düsseldorf, Germany. Tuesday 23rd April.
It was time for Jake to do something different for a change apart from training at his wrestling school that he had joined that he was going to do some magic tricks for today and there was a reason for it and that's because his opponent ended up being one of the more well-known names in CRW Sally Talfourd.
Jake was very excited but very nervous about the match as he knows that he has no experience to beat Sally but he was going to try. It was another reason he was going to do magic tricks. The crowd was waiting for Jake to do something as he begins to speak.
Jake Raab: Wow. I never thought I would see the day of me facing against a legend in this wrestling business known as Sally Talfourd purely because she has done a heck a lot of things in wrestling. She has a lot of heart and talent to be in the wrestling business. I know that she has come across my cousin that causes problems to everyone but just want to let you know that I'm nothing like the guy not even close.
Jake started to do some magic tricks and he hid some cards behind his back and as he put the cards in front of him. They were half king and have seven of diamonds. The crowd clapped him as he continues to speak.
Jake Raab: I think doing these magic tricks is a lot of fun especially when my opponent's nick name is The Last Magician but I can't get too nasty about her since I'm not that kind of guy compared to some people. I heard about you teaming with Rex Evans to go and win the tag team titles over in Visionary Wrestling Incorporated company and honestly you both should have won the match since Terry Marvin and Level One as far as I know aren't getting along any more due to Terry being drafted over to some other brand or something like that. I don't know but I'm not worried about him that disrespectful punk that he is to you.
Jake was enjoying himself as he put the rabbit in the hat tapping the wand on the hat and the flowers popped up from the hat and then he did another trick with a watch as he made it disappear.
Jake Raab: Being a magician is a lot of fun actually and I see why you called yourself that. To be honest though from what I've seen. You don't seem like that you are a magician since you like to be with family members more than doing magic tricks showing the crowd like I've got here in Germany that you got to entertain people once in a while. I really just can't say anything bad about you Sally because I know you are coming off from a losing streak which is pretty hard thing to deal with but there is a way to overcome the losses and that's to go in the gym and train your ass off like I know the Sally that you are.
Jake was purely trying to give her some confidence as he knew that his last match in CRW was nothing compared to this Sunday's match as he done some more magic tricks this time with a pen on writing something on paper but nobody could see what he wrote until people saw what he had written with a black cardboard placed over the piece of paper.
Jake Raab: I know going into this match that you have more experience than me but this match for me no matter if I win or lose the match that I will gain a lot of wrestling experience from this because you are the best female wrestler that I've ever came across and I'm not just saying that either everyone. Sally has a lot of talent and hell she has beaten guys twice her size in a lot of matches before including defeating some big names like Level One, Anthony Bailey and even Johnny Rebel. That's a big achievement for her and that alone deserves a lot of my respect for sure.
Jake knows that he clearly was a big underdog in the match and hell for him. It's the biggest match of his life that he was going to be in.
Jake Raab: Another thing you should know about me is that I used to be a top MMA fighter in Germany which is something that is quite rare to have in the wrestling business because there isn't many fighters making the transition to wrestling. I only moved to wrestling because I wanted a new challenge and there wasn't anything else left to do in the sport because I've done everything. You may think that MMA fighters shouldn't belong in the wrestling business but I think my match two weeks ago has already proven people enough that I am a real wrestler now and I adapted some of my MMA skills and moves that I used to use in the sport into my wrestling moves list.
Seems like a lot of people forget that Jake used to be an MMA fighter as not many people realize about he had to change some of his MMA stuff as majority of it wasn't allowed in wrestling and had to use more suplexes than he had done in his career.
Jake then went down to the crowd as he saw a man who needed some cheering up as he got a coin out of his pocket and somehow the coin ended up in the man's ear with the crowd applauding Jake with the trick as he does the same to other people who wanted Jake to do again.
Jake Raab: There's quite a lot of pressure on you than me since it wouldn't matter so much if I lost but it would be a whole big deal if you lost to me especially that you lost two weeks ago in a tag match with Rex Evans. I want for you to bring everything you got against me in the ring on Sunday and to not worry about your loss against Michael Norcia two weeks ago.
Jake asked for a volunteer from the crowd as he wanted to make the person disappear for a bit and then to come back as he selected a young man to come on the stage and puts him in a box and continues to speak while sliding the swords on the door.
Jake Raab: Unlike Michael as far as I can see. He doesn't care for any respect for the business while we do and the fact that both of us are going to wrestle for the fans as well is something else we got in common. Nobody is going to care for your last loss and hell nobody is going to care for my win I got over John and Kalamity two weeks ago because it's the fans that matter more than worrying about winning and losing.
Jake went to say the magic words and the man disappeared and then yet again he tapped the wand on the box only for him to open the doors and the man appeared again with the crowd applauding Jake for his magic trick.
Jake Raab: The thing I want to ask Sally about is why did you leave APW to pull of the stunt that you got injured and then came back to CRW? I'm sure that question is on everyone's mind that only you can explain unless I missed something that there was a reason for leaving the company but the main thing is that you seem right at home in this company and I can actually see why since I honestly never felt more at home than I've been in years.
Jake is enjoying that he was playing around with magic tricks and he loved that the fans were cheering for him and he smiled in a happy way as he continued to speak.
Jake Raab: Why do you care for Rex Evans so much? He's in prison for a reason and to be honest that's something I'm completely against because the prisoners don't deserve anyone's help even if my cousin was in prison. I wouldn't help him out because he deserves to be in there especially from the stuff I've heard as of late if he goes in. Maybe you should do the same and leave him in the cell. I do hope that he doesn't come out and help you win because I only want to face you in the ring not him.
Jake was against good people helping out prisoners as he didn't think that they deserved help for the crimes they done as he was going to say his last few words about the match before he leaves.
Jake Raab: These people here enjoyed the show I put on for them and so did I and that's exactly what we are going to do is produce a show for them. I'll bring everything to the table that I got to perform the best wrestling that anybody has ever seen from me because you are a legend in the business. You may have more experience than me but I got the passion for the sport a lot more because I love wrestling for the fans and that being the underdog doesn't mean that I don't have a chance. It's all about who wants to win this match more and sorry to say this Sally no matter how much I respect you. It's going to be me. Good luck for Sunday girl because you are going to need it.
Jake left the magic show event as he went straight to bed to catch his flight to America the next day to prepare himself for the biggest fight of his life against Sally Talfourd.
