Dirty Hous by Rohff feat. Big Ali plays over the sound system as Stefan comes out through the curtain as he high fives the fans as he climbs up the stairs to enter in the ring holding his hands in the air as he asks for a microphone.
WEW PLAY-BY-PLAY COMMENTATOR, CALVIN MARKS:
“ I think it's amazing that Stefan already has a wrestling theme song before he makes his debut in WEW”
WEW COLOR COMMENTATOR, PAIGE MATTHEWS:
“It's pretty catchy too. I think it's great on what he's doing for our company to promote and represent WEW in interfed tournaments.”
WEW PLAY-BY-PLAY COMMENTATOR, CALVIN MARKS:
“It is great and he's just joined the member of the security team as well like is there anything this man can't do?”
WEW COLOR COMMENTATOR, PAIGE MATTHEWS:
“I don't know but let's here what Stefan's got to say.”
The Stefan chants started as they were all over the arena before they die down as Stefan begins to speak.
Stefan Raab: It's great to be here in an WEW ring in Canada because I got a hell a lot of things to talk about tonight starting with my match that I had against Vantage that some may not remember but let me give you the run down of that.
You see last year on this very PPV was when my wrestling career officially started at Retribution PPV. I wrestled against Vantage as a non wrestler the first and only non wrestler to do so in WEW.
Stefan took a break from talking for a bit as he continued to speak.
Stefan Raab: Now you see fans. I wasn't a nice guy back then at all. I was a complete asshole thinking that any one can become wrestlers when I discovered from that match alone with Vantage that it's a much tougher job than I thought but it was on that night I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my career.
The fans booed the hell out of me with the arrogance I showed before my match with him. I lost to him but it was gaining viewers in Germany to watch wrestling and from what I hear. It's still continuing to run back at home which is fantastic news because I can see a lot more German wrestlers entering in this wonderful company. Me and Vantage hated each other this time last year and now we are best of friends because I earned his respect and he earned mine.
If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have even considered to become a full time wrestler here in WEW at the end of this year.
Stefan looks around the crowd chanting for him as he closes his eyes feeling the support the fans have for Stefan as he opens them continuing to speak.
Stefan Raab: That theme song I walked out to, that's going to be the official theme song I will use when I enter in this company. I wanted to get you fans and everyone in the WEW locker room fired up for my debut that's if somebody doesn't use the theme song by the end of this year but I got another theme song if it comes to the worst.
He was feeling the support as usually people would boo him but not in WEW. He was far too liked to gain the support he has from everyone in the back especially on what he has to talk about next.
Stefan Raab: The next thing is interfed tournaments. Now when I announced on Adrenaline that I was going to promote and represent WEW. I meant what I said and a week after I announced it. I found out an interfed tournament that was taking place over in Wrestleboum called T-Act Cup going up against different wrestlers around the world.
I managed to pass the rumble and I defeated Matt Reece due to him having to forfit to be in the tournament and I defeated Mephisto in a steel cage match. My next match funny enough happens tomorrow in Brazil when I go up against a guy I know very well from a certain company that I currently wrestle for CJ Gates in a falls count anywhere match.
People cheered and rooted for Stefan as they chanted good luck Stefan as the commentators begin to speak.
WEW COLOR COMMENTATOR, PAIGE MATTHEWS:
“WOAH. Stefan's in the semi finals of the T-Act Cup inter fed tournament? That's incredible.”
WEW PLAY-BY-PLAY COMMENTATOR, CALVIN MARKS:
“He's showing people that he means business and proving people that he isn't a joke any more which deserves a lot of my respect for him to do what he's doing.”
WEW COLOR COMMENTATOR, PAIGE MATTHEWS:
“I've heard about that actually from Stefan's twitter page with the tournament and it seems like a lot of wrestlers around the world are taking note of WEW right now thanks to Stefan.”
WEW PLAY-BY-PLAY COMMENTATOR, CALVIN MARKS:
“He's doing an outstanding job for sure. I can see him going very far in WEW the way he's been performing in the T-Act Cup is outstanding.”
Stefan had more to say as he was waiting for the chants to die down as he continues to speak.
Stefan Raab: You may have also heard that I signed up to another inter fed tournament as of late along with another WEW star this time called King Of The Cage tournament where you face off against other singles wrestlers in a tournament round rather than starting off in the rumble and then get singles matches.
Alakai Burke and I went to the interview I had for the King Of The Cage tournament on the day of the Super Animosity show and due to the successful meeting we had with a guy that's the owner of EWC called President Mac. I'm allowed to promote the event and get other wrestlers to join in.
Stefan was spilling the beans with everything today as he continued to speak.
Stefan Raab: Gabriel Asar has already signed up and I would love to see other wrestlers in WEW to sign up as well as you learn a lot from these tournaments and you get to work with people you don't get the chance to work with in WEW. I really do recommend WEW wrestlers and non wrestlers to join in the tournament as you can win up to $500,000 dollars in cash along with the King Of The Cage championship belt. The sign up's for the tournament end in September with the tournament starting in November.
That's all I have to talk about for tonight as I'm going to go backstage and enjoy the rest of the show like you fans I hope are enjoying so far. Good luck to everyone that's in the Retribution rumble tonight.
Stefan then goes backstage with the good luck Stefan chants going again supporting him for his match against CJ Gates tomorrow night in Brazil as he high fives the fans going backstage to watch the rest of the show.
WEW COLOR COMMENTATOR, PAIGE MATTHEWS:
“Stefan's just so passionate about World Elite Wrestling as he's representing us yet again in the King Of The Cage tournament this time when it all starts in November”
WEW PLAY-BY-PLAY COMMENTATOR, CALVIN MARKS:
“He certainly is as he's made a lot of announcements this year from being in the APW Survive and Conquer rumble then the announcement of him promoting and representing WEW in all of the interfed tournaments and now the announcements about him making it to the semi finals of the T- Act Cup interfed tournament and entering himself in the King Of The Cage tournament.”
WEW COLOR COMMENTATOR, PAIGE MATTHEWS:
“As I said he's already put WEW on the map with the stuff he's doing rather than just signing autographs and going to promotional events run by WEW. He's promoting the company in a complete different way. We here in WEW wish Stefan all the best of luck with making the finals of the T-Act Cup as well as taking part in the King Of The Cage tournament”
WEW PLAY-BY-PLAY COMMENTATOR, CALVIN MARKS:
“Same here as well. Anyway we should be getting back to the Retribution matches in hand with the next match that's going to take place.”
The announcer was standing in the ring for the next match up that was going to take place between Vantage and Brian James in an I quit match.
