Talking about 4CW's history, being apart of the 100th show and history with Cyrus Riddle. Las Vegas, Nevada. Monday 8th May.
It was gonna be in an unusual location as Lord Raab isn't speaking in a location outside of his apartment, in fact it was his apartment because he's placed up all the pictures he's got from the days of his early 4CW career as this means a whole big deal to Lord Raab. He has a banner above the sofa where the wall is of the original 4CW banner, the first one that was created as he done this previously in 4CW before.
The show was the PPV event for Lord Raab as he's gonna be facing one of his enemies who he had a lot of history with, Cyrus Riddle. He knew everything about him and even what he said in the match that happened many years ago as it was history Raab has never ever forgotten. Of course this was now as he knows what exactly he's going to talk about and he starts talking about it.
Lord Raab: “I'm so proud to wrestle on 4CW's 100th show where I feel this is a PPV for me. South Beach Brawl was just a normal show for me because it was nothing special or anything to feel proud of, especially when Marino said to give him a reason why to care and to be honest, I didn't. I however feel a lot more about this because it means the whole world to me to be wrestling on this 100th show when I nearly couldn't wrestle on this show.
I'll announce what I mean on Wednesday, but I guess I'm a lot more passionate now because I was there on the very first show. I didn't wrestle, but I was apart of House Of Howe with Jason Cashe who was my partner at the time. Niobe Martin was there as well. All these pictures you see were long before I was known as 4CW's green disease monster, but I'm even being known as a 4CW mainstay from a lot of wrestlers.”
Raab knows how much the event means to him at a point he could've had something done which he clearly rejected and he speaks.
Lord Raab: “Fact is it means so much and I congratulate Perry Wallace for having his company last for four years and still is standing on it's two feet. Back then, nobody predicted how long 4CW lasted, heck the company has nearly closed down at some points because of lack of people, but me, Cashe and Niobe have made what the company is today.
I'm so bloody excited as people know about this event and cos of that, I'll put everything into this match when it comes to any sort of 4CW landmark because if you lasted as long as I have, you start to realise where you've improved and where you still make mistakes. I'm much happier than I was back at South Beach Brawl.”
Raab hadn't finished talking as he hadn't even gotten to the part of talking about the third show as he points to the picture where the kitchen is he placed above when he fought against Phinehas Lovecraft as he speaks about it.
Lord Raab: “The first two shows, I was just apart of the show because there was a tournament going on to win the 4CW South West title it was called back then, but I only came out of prison at that time so I couldn't enter, but my 1st match in 4CW is the picture I'm pointing at where I fought against Phinehas Lovecraft on the 3rd 4CW show. I was very irresponsible back then, being a complete fucking idiot at the things I said.
But while I was a complete idiot, I won that match with Phinehas Lovecraft while the tournament was still going on, but only a few people were in it. It was a shame I never got the chance to be the 4CW South West title and I would honestly bring that type of title back if I won the belt, but that won't happen for a very long time until I've discovered who I am because when I look back, I still am the same person I was a little bit with a nasty sick dude, but just calmed down over the years cos of the passion I have for this sport, especially when my opponent is someone I've had a lot of history with and I fought before in 4CW, the guy is Cyrus Riddle.”
You see a huge smile on Lord Raab's face, even feeling a lot more confident in himself mainly because of how special it was for him and he knew he had to get straight down to the match and he speaks.
Lord Raab: “For those of you who never saw the match with Cyrus, it was just a start of me being the Green Disease Monster as I wasn't always like this. If you look at the pics above, you saw me unmasked, being a fraud to my brother's name to wearing a black and red stripy mask where I've defeated Dakota Smith before and up to now. Back in November in two thousand and fifteen, me and Cyrus had a really violent extreme rules match against each other.
It's the first time green blood was spilt in a wrestling ring because Cyrus was a very different person back then. He was a scary individual and he achieved a lot during his time in 4CW, even was tag team champion with Aidan Carlisle at one point.”
He brings the camera closer to show a mark on his throat as he lifts his head up and speaks.
Lord Raab: “This marking here is a scar of a life threatening injury I had by my opponent after he used a barb wire to strangle me to a point I was bleeding on that part of me. It was this scar right on my throat that happened to a point that Cyrus is the first and only wrestler so far to force me into hospital because if I didn't go in to get a lot of stitches in my throat, the doctors said I would've died and so now you know where I got this scar from and nothing will take that away from Cyrus.”
It's always something Raab looks at every single day when he wrestles as he places his head down after speaking about it and you even see the match pictures of where Cyrus and Raab had a very violent match against each other as he speaks, while sitting down on a metal chair in the kitchen, looking directly at the camera.
Lord Raab: “While Cyrus was a great and talented wrestler back then, there's something that's changed with him now. I don't think he's as violent as he was. No because I heard what he said to Dakota and although he lost to him in a last man standing match, he's been very quiet and that's not a bad thing, despite what Marino said because it could mean he's getting himself extra prepared to face me, knowing I'm bringing my full potential on this PPV.
Yes I'm calling it at PPV because it's essentially just that, but I do think Cyrus is lacking something somewhere in his matches. Years ago, he'd come out and beat the shit out of me, but there's just not that spark that's there since he's returned. He has teamed with Dakota, Perry and Erron Wilder in the past known as Omata and I wanted to be apart of that team cos it did represent everything about me.”
Of course he shook his head, wondering why he didn't step up to the plate to be offered in the spot of the stable as he speaks again.
Lord Raab: “But to prove he's faced me, he said he was the real monster and I was the pretender, but of course it was then, but I don't feel he's a monster right now. I think he's lost that part about him. Sure he still comes with threats about violence, but this is a match where he'll honestly struggle because I'm still around, never once quitted this company, while he has. He done that because he couldn't handle losing.
Which is typical for former 4CW stars to do so, but all the success he's had, he's never really lived up his potential in the Extreme Rules division. He gave me a fight, that's for sure, but I don't think Cyrus will realise how much I've changed since two thousand and fifteen cos I clearly see changes in myself. The guy literally said he'd use any sort of weapons on me, even with tools you get in the kitchen and in a tool box in general and I know I lost against him, but I underestimated Cyrus Riddle because I was a fool to let him lose to me.”
Raab shook his head and speaks again.
Lord Raab: “Fact is Cyrus really just came back to give Dakota some revenge and that's the only reason I see him being back. There's a reason why I held something back a couple of weeks ago because I can get this particular thing done at any time, but competing in 4CW's 100th show? That will never ever happen again because I'm not even gonna joke around about this Cyrus, but this match means the whole god damn world to me.
It means I'm gonna push myself to the extreme limits of maybe even getting hardcore with you because I want the feeling of being hurt and suffer from pain. I'm gonna put everything into this 4CW 100th PPV because this is why I'm still here. I don't want to be known like you were being a former champion who quit because he had nothing left to prove. I won't quit and abandon my 4CW fans and my workers because they know when a major 4CW landmark comes, they'll see a whole different Lord Raab in the ring.”
It was a hard topic for Raab to bad mouth Cyrus, especially he's just so happy to be apart of the show and was honoured.
Lord Raab: “They'll see 4CW's Green Disease Monster taking you to limits you've never experienced in two thousand and fifteen. Why am I saying those things? Because I have the passion for this company more than everybody apart from Cashe in this damn company. What you said was all in the past and I can forgive you for the stuff you said and the only thing that hasn't changed is me still not being a champion.
But I still never quit being in 4CW. Without 4CW fans and the company itself, I'd be nothing and I always believed in that and I've earned the right to be a 4CW supporter and the biggest fan of the company because I love being apart of the company and I love to give you all the violence in the world to go back to how I was before I was in the Fate division and the reason why I am is because it's the only title in the history of 4CW I've not had a match for.”
Raab nods his head on how much and important it is to be a great follower and supporter of 4CW's 100th show and he loved it. He's just so excited for it.
Lord Raab: “I love being in this match with you Cyrus as you've always earned my respect from the fight we had back in the days of being one of the if not the most violent match I've had in 4CW history. I mean my match with Dakota with 8 panes of glass match came close, but nothing like our match where the two monster just beat the living shit out of each other and I wish it was an extreme rules match so we can capture that and repeat the match once again.
But we can't and I'm gonna make you wish you'd never came back to 4CW because you may have some unfinished business with Dakota, but I want you to come to the match against this passionate 4CW fan and destroy me. I want the old Cyrus back where he'd force me in hospital for a few nights and do anything possible to get me down to a point of me not being able to get back up.”
Raab's just so excited, even going over the top a bit, but he continues talking.
Lord Raab: “I've done a lot of things since I've been in this company and of course that title thing is still an annoyance I've not been able to win, but I want to change that because I need to come at you fucking hard. I want to feel to taste of my own blood dripping down from my mask and face. I want scars and even burns on my body to remind me that you still have what it takes to be in 4CW and letting the world know you want to come back and fight the best 4CW's got to offer.
I'm so bloody confident in myself because this 4CW's 100th PPV show has made me so excited to fight you and I want the fans to watch this match with me and Cyrus tearing the whole fucking house down just like in our match back in those days and still have an extreme rules match in the Fate division because I want violence, I want to remind myself that my early days in 4CW were god awful and I want to win this match. Wednesday night at 4CW's 100th PPV show, prepare to be Raabinated by 4CW's Green Disease Monster.”
It was the end as there's nothing Raab had left to say, but he did want to gather up some thoughts to himself after he's turned the camera off and goes to lie in his bed to have a think
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Lord Raab's 100th 4CW thoughts.
I can't believe I've lasted as long as this show has. This is something I just can't wait to experience. I most likely be the first 4CW wrestler in that arena on Wednesday because I'm just so excited, but I've never felt like I've wanted to win for a long time and I've got a lot of momentum on my side to succeed on giving the fans a show they deserve and need for me. Little do they know what's coming and honestly, I feel a little sad of what I got to announce.
But this is where 4CW's Green Disease Monster could change. Could we see a whole different Raab changing his own life for the better? Could the fans still accept me on seeing my inner self? I don't know and right now, I don't care because I'm gonna be the first 4CW wrestler to join in the celebrations of 4CW's 100th show because I've earned that right as so has Cashe and Niobe too.
We along with Perry kept the show going and I've talked with my brother time and time again on how excited I am about this show, how important it is for me to compete. I want to go out in style, showing the world Lord Raab still has what it takes, but at the same time while I'm trying to discover myself, I still want to be a violent wrestler and I want the fans to truly experience what I can do.
Because they need to see the growth of me overtime and I may have lost against Marino and Scott Stevens, but I never lost 4CW passion and being proud to be apart of it since the day it opened and nobody apart from me, Cashe and Niobe can deny that, even if Cashe is pissing me the fuck off everyday with that mask, but it's a rivalry me and him always had and even if we were team mates in House of Howe, I respected him and I still do today.
Much like Dakota Smith who's nearly earned the right to be in the 4CW hall of fame that I really want to be apart of, but how could I if I've not won a single title? That's starting to motivate me once again and I like being known as the underdog in this match, have no pressure to succeed compared to Cyrus who has to live up to his reputation to the sport.
4CW company along with the pictures I've had on my wall are members I will never ever forget, regardless of what happens to me, the only place I'd die and have a funeral at is at the 4CW arena because then I'd be known for my dedication to the company and have them be honoured where I died for 4CW to give others a chance to grow to be remembered like me. Cyrus and everyone else in the back and the crowd have no idea what I'm gonna do and they shouldn't because I want to hear the fans chant my name, scream their fucking hearts out for me because that's motivation and something I'll remember for a very long time of their 4CW hero delivering everything he's promised on.
I will win against Cyrus Riddle either if I pin or submit him, I never wanted my hand raised in the middle of 4CW's 100th PPV more than ever before. I'll go on my knees, kiss the ring and cry my eyes out, celebrating like I've won the 4CW South West title. Enjoy the ride of being apart of 4CW fans and wrestlers alike cos you'll remember me for putting a performance of a life time on 100th PPV cos I want to be remembered for pulling everything out of my ass to win. See you all on Wednesday.
