The day of the police arrival. Anaheim, California. Friday 28th September. (Off camera)
It's a quiet morning to start with Mattia sleeping on the sofa, while Konrad and Fizz were sleeping in bed together until Konrad had to get up to take the kids to school or nursery to do his usual father role which was the only thing he enjoys more than wrestling and playing soccer. He had played a lot of soccer games as of late for LA Galaxy which was a good thing on top of doing karate with his son. Fizz saw Konrad doing a lot more father things, although he says this to her.
Konrad Raab: “I wish I could get Sebastian to come home.”
Fizz Raab: “Me too.”
Konrad Raab: “I love the chance to wrestle the guy and do things I can't with Mattheus and Roderick yet due to their age. I want to be ready to raise teenage boys in my life on top of saving Sebastian's life.”
Fizz Raab: “He is our son regardless since you've signed the contracts, just a shame we have to wait months for the visa to go through.”
Konrad Raab: “It does suck, but it sucks more I've got to deal with Mattia's problem with money problems due to the ongoing scams Indian people do to vulnerable people like him who didn't have a clue how to handle the situation.”
Fizz Raab: “Yes, I wish I could understand German better to get to know Mattia better. He seems a nice guy who didn't have good parents growing up.”
Konrad Raab: “He did have good parents, just they never told him what to do in these situations as it never happens in Italy. Anyway, I better get our kids to school and nursery. We'll talk later.”
This was one of the only times Konrad was able to take his kids to school, unless UGWC and SCW shows had a week off from wrestling where he was able to be more at home with the kids and since he cut down from four to two companies, he was clearly able to be a parent and a wrestler at the same time. He took his kids to nursery and school before coming home to see Mattia who only just got up and says this.
Mattia Moretti: “Morning.”
Konrad Raab: “Morning. Listen, we're going to sort it out. I don't need to ask you how you are; I can tell the look of your face of your fear.”
Mattia Moretti: “Especially when the police have come here on Wednesday to talk to me, but I didn't understand what they say, and they said they'd come back here on Friday because I said I needed you to help me and said it's best to come back on Friday.”
Konrad Raab: “I heard from Fizz telling me last night. I told you they'd find out where you live or temporary. Police are smart like that.”
It was known last night from Fizz the police came to talk to Mattia, but because of Fizz's lack of understanding Mattia, they couldn't sort the problem out so at least Konrad was prepared for the police to come today and it meant he couldn't go to the gym and work out, even if things in UGWC weren't good, he couldn't allow himself to go back how he was in May.
Mattia had been good company when Konrad was around as he been discussing family stories to Fizz and their kids, on top of Mattheus and Mattia has an excellent connection, considering they both were into bike racing, although different forms as Mattia was a big Moto GP fan like Konrad and Fizz were and Mattheus being a Supercross/Motocross star of the future.
Mattia Moretti: “You not wrestling this week?”
Konrad Raab: “I am wrestling on Wednesday, but for Supreme Championship Wrestling, not Unified Global Wrestling Coalition as they have breaks when a PPV event has happened just like Supreme do as well.”
Mattia Moretti: “It's always nice to have a break sometimes.”
Konrad Raab: “It is, especially I'm able to spend more time with my kids which has strengthen our relationship. Me cutting out two companies is the best thing I've done because it's made me and Fizz stronger as parents and as husband and wife we are.”
Mattia Moretti: “On top of you both renewing your wedding vows next year.”
It left Konrad shocked, sure he told Lord Raab and Samuel McPherson he was renewing wedding vows with Fizz, but another member of his family who had no engagement with until three weeks ago knew about them getting married again.
Konrad Raab: “How do you know?”
Mattia Moretti: “It's not hard to spot when you have some wedding stuff organised in a room already. Don't worry; I won't tell anyone.”
Konrad Raab: “Well not until the seventh of October at least with it being two years since my dad's death and being that we'll go to my brothers again for a few hours that we do every year.”
Mattia Moretti: “That makes sense.”
While they were talking in the living room, there was a thunderous knock on the door as Mattia hides under the covers, knowing it was the police at the door as Konrad went straight towards the door and he opens it and sees two male police officers at the door.
Police officer 1: “Hello, are you Konrad Raab, the cousin of Mattia?”
Konrad Raab: “Yes sir, I am.”
Police officer 2: “We're here to discuss Mattia's money troubles. I'm sure you're aware we came over on Wednesday to talk, but there was some language problem.”
Konrad Raab: “Yes as Fizz doesn't understand Mattia very well.”
It's been sometime the last time Konrad had to talk to the police with Fizz staying well out of the situation as she ends up going upstairs as the police walked into their home as they saw Mattia being undercover and the police officer uncovered the sheet to see Mattia hiding, and he goes on his knees.
Mattia Moretti: “Please don't send me to jail.”
Police Officer 1: “If you cooperate with us, you won't be going to jail.”
Konrad Raab: “Can I see the bill that Mattia has to pay?”
As the police officers sit down on the sofa, they gave Konrad the slip, stating precisely the money Mattia owes which has gone up by quite a bit with thirty-five thousand dollars. He also goes to discuss the situation Mattia's been in regarding the owed money to the landlord and other bills with electric and gas he also owes which is why it's raised a bit more.
Konrad Raab: “You see officers, it's not entirely his fault. From what he's told me and I'm only going by what he's told me is he was scammed by Indians making fraud calls to him about if he doesn't pay how much was it?”
Mattia Moretti: “Thirty thousand dollars.”
Konrad Raab: “Of course, he didn't know what to do so he paid the money with all amount of threats they gave him if he doesn't pay it.”
Police Officer 2: “Right, we weren't aware of this, we've been told by his landlord he was living here in California. We're aware also he has to pay within thirty days, or he'll lose the apartment he lives in.”
Mattia Moretti: “I don't have that amount of money on me.”
Mattia was still scared as although Konrad knew they were doing their jobs to do what was right for the country, he generally didn't want to see Mattia go to prison and it had been right, Mattia had no money to pay for anything and it was a lot of stress on the twenty-year-old boy who's never experienced this in his life, but the police officer, however, asks a question to Mattia.
Police Officer 1: “Do you have your mobile with you?”
Mattia nods as he gets it out and gets the list of calls he had recently, mostly full of Konrad on it, but there was a number that stuck out for the officers as they ask another question.
Police Officer 2: “Did they call you from this phone?”
Mattia nods again as the police wrote everything down, regarding the number of the scam he had which luckily, Mattia kept as it occurred to the police it's not the first time it's happened to have situations like this, especially the number was very known to the police as they say this.
Police Officer 1: “We've had a lot of complaints coming from this number about taxes scams they are doing so they are already on our record. In the meantime, however, I like for you to contact your landlord and get that money paid back.”
Mattia Moretti: “No money.”
Konrad Raab: “I've already told him I'll pay for it out of mine as the last thing I want is for Mattia to go to jail.”
Police Officer 2: “Thank you very much, Mr Raab. We need for you to pay it in two days time to get it off your hands and we'll talk to this Indian scammer to get him arrested and sent to jail as he happens to live in America. In the meantime Mattia, don't give out your bank or money details to people you don't know ever again.”
Mattia Moretti: “I won't sir.”
They've written every piece of information down with evidence that will go against them with the number Mattia gave to the police on his mobile they rang from a few weeks ago and they left Konrad's home without arresting him as it wasn't to blame from the evidence he gave, especially Konrad was willing to pay what Mattia owed to in two days time with Mattia phoning up the landlord to talk to him before he passes the phone to Konrad.
Konrad Raab: “Yes I'm gonna pay thirty-five thousand dollars to Mattia.”
Mattia's landlord: “Thank you very much, may I ask if he's a family member of yours?”
Konrad Raab: “He's my cousin. I will come down to Chicago on Sunday with Mattia to get this paid off for him.”
Mattia's landlord: “Meet me in my office as I will text you the address for the pair of you to come down to meet me at 4 in the afternoon.”
Konrad Raab: “Thank you. I got it all from here, but it wasn't his fault he got in this situation, he was lost of what to do from threats he got from Indian scammers that have been reported for wanting his money for taxes.”
This was new information from his landlord; he had no idea of the reason why Mattia owed a lot of money was because of the scammers, and he got concerned if it'll happen to the rest of the clients of if they've been fooled for it.
Mattia's landlord: “I apologise for being so hard to Mattia. Had no idea he was tricked to the taxes scam. Now I feel like a piece of shit to say he'll never come back to live here and things like that.”
Konrad Raab: “It's OK, Mattia was too afraid to tell you. Don't worry; it won't happen ever again as I will come over and check on Mattia every Monday week to check if he's OK and help him out with money.”
Mattia's landlord: “I will, however, send out a warning to my residents to be aware of scammers wanting their money, especially we do have elderlies living here. Thank you for your time Mr Raab, but I have to go as I got a call coming through, see you later.”
At that point, the call was cut as things were going to get solved on Sunday as there was no longer hiding in fear for Mattia and especially it caught Mattia's attention on what Konrad said on the phone to his landlord.
Mattia Moretti: “Really, you'll come to check on me every Monday week?”
Konrad Raab: “I meant every word of that to prevent things like this ever happening again, and besides, I have somewhere to stay now for my matches in UGWC, providing you'll allow Markus to stay as well when he wrestles in Chicago.”
Mattia Moretti: “Thank you, you're the best cousin I could ask for to keep me in check.”
Konrad Raab: “Next time, if anybody asks you for money, cut off straight away and don't be fooled to pay the money.”
Mattia Moretti: “I won't, I promise.”
It was at that time Fizz came downstairs, staying entirely out of the situation as it didn't have anything to do with her other than knowing the issue that went on as he kisses Fizz and Konrad says this.
Konrad Raab: “It's all sorted, I got to go to Chicago with Mattia on Sunday to pay off thirty-five thousand dollars that went up because of the gas and electric bills he's due, and I will see him every Monday week to check up on him.”
Fizz Raab: “You always put your family first. Funny enough, my dad just called me, and he said he's gonna do a supercross race in Las Vegas in October, and he badly wants me to go.”
Konrad Raab: “Wow, I didn't expect that, coming from your dad who retired from the sport a few years ago. Of course you should go, after all, you've not been for years. You really should go to Vegas to support him on, especially when Markus has a place to stay there and he's sure as hell will allow Ryan to come and stay too.”
It was good news all around with Mattia's problem being sorted out on Sunday and the announcement of Fizz's dad returning to Supercross in October for a race which was exciting enough for the family to know Fizz was invited to go and watch her dad race which Konrad accepted, considering that Mattheus would likely have to go too since he was racing in October as well for his age class as Konrad will stay at home to take care of the kids.

A tag match involving Cooperation title contention team youtube.com shoot (On camera)
“Well, I guess it's a significant improvement from the PPV. Although I didn't win the match due to Gabrel grabbing my foot to stop the count, I accept that, but I wasn't the one pinned in the match. I knew coming in the triple threat match last week, I was clearly overlooked by both opponents of Eden and Lucy which I can understand with their history, but being the underdog I was, I walked away relativity happy and content because I saw how much I improved from that match along to not be pinned against the former UGWC champions in this company as many expected me to be pinned or submitted.
Which is something Kem Dynamo who's my tag partner this week also experienced too, although she has done more than me in UGWC admittedly, she wasn't pinned in her fatal four-way match either. Sure she lost a shot for the UGWC title, but she fought so hard that she almost captured the belt. She's come a long way, and I respect her for it. Heck, I was there for her when she thought she wasn't being respected for her actions and I told Kem she'll learn from her mistakes and to ignore the crap she gets to focus on her job.
Something I know that's been a problem when it comes to someone on the other team who stoops so low to insult somebody with how they look, am I right Roxi? I mean for someone that's so talented in the ring with the achievement of being a former cooperative champion being respected, your mouth is the farthest thing from that. You are the lowest of the low to insult somebody because of how they look because you're too much of a coward to say it to her face.
At least she's been to the top and fought the best on the roster, even being close to winning a UGWC title, unlike yourself. You don't respect anybody, but yourself and some members of your team which is disgusting. Kem came crying to me because of you insulting her, and that's not right with me telling her to ignore your crap and focus on doing what's right in the ring.
You're jealous of Kem's achievements, wishing you could achieve more than winning a tag title. I've not achieved or won any titles, but even I know better not to stoop that low because unlike you, I actually care for Kem and I was there for her because you're a scumbag who hides behind her trash talking mouth instead of showing the world you are bigger than insulting people like a child by performing to your best in the ring.
It doesn't affect what you'll say to me because I've grown and improved enough to know that talking belongs in the ring than out of it and I hate having to talk badly towards you because of you trash talking instead of achieving to win a title by your skills in the ring, but I can't ignore the stuff you've been saying to Kem.
I feel sorry for Kenzi who has to deal with Roxi's bullcrap on consistent bases, despite being tag partners in another company I'm aware of being tag champions. I have nothing, but complete respect for Kenzi for trying to do what's right, especially at least she acknowledges how wrong it is for Phrixus to force me to win by cheap methods. I will never use cheap ways to win any match as you know because I respect this business enough to know I can win on any forgiven day.
You know I respect you too much to insult you which is why I still refuse to because nothing you did in the tag match was your fault at all, and you were respectful to me enough to beat me at my own game, even if Phrixus tried to get me to cheat which I overcome his mind games to not fall into that trap as it won't get you anywhere.
I won't ever resort to doing what Phrixus or Sarah did to win a title because I won't ever cheat to win matches ever again as it got me nowhere, but nearly banned from being in the business. I don't care if people like this or not, but why do some wrestlers have to be rulebreakers to use cheap tactics to win matches and titles? Why can't some wrestlers have the will to achieve success with their skills in the ring? Because the way I see things, people like myself and Kem prove and will continue to prove every single time that we don't need to insult people or become rulebreakers to win matches and titles, it's about the passion and pride we have for this business. We've won titles in other companies by following the rules and if me and Kem can do it, so can all of you.
This is no laughing matter and yes, we've only teamed together once, but we have the same views about wrestling of earning everything to win matches and certainly have the same points of wrestling for honour and respect which can cost Kenzi and Roxi the match, despite them being a solid team in other companies and going for the cooperative titles at the PPV.
Me and Kem can and will defeat you both because we can and are confident enough to do so, despite our runs as of late, you two might be tough, but nothing overcomes pride and honour we have for the business as Kenzi does too, but I know for a fact Kem can pin Roxi for the three count because she's craving to beat you in the ring, much as me getting the win with Kem together, being within the rules and win the entire match, embarrassing the undefeated team to overcome the odds against us to achieve success as a team or by ourselves with our hands raised in the ring.”
It's a quiet morning to start with Mattia sleeping on the sofa, while Konrad and Fizz were sleeping in bed together until Konrad had to get up to take the kids to school or nursery to do his usual father role which was the only thing he enjoys more than wrestling and playing soccer.
