Review of last week's match/discussing the next opponents. Chicago, Illinois. Monday 21st January.
After his matches against Osmond Bradley on Friday night in England and Autumn Valentine last night in Los Angeles, they've only arrived at Chicago a few hours ago with Konrad once again, looking into space. His eyes blinking a lot as his mental trainer notices his client's reactions with worry as he says this while only stepping their foot in Mattia's door.
Jerry Flack: “What's wrong?”
Konrad Raab: “I'm still wondering where I stand in UGWC.”
Jerry Flack: “I hope you aren't doubting yourself.”
Konrad Raab: “I'm trying not to."
Jerry Flack: “Sure you lost against Magdalena Lockhart, but you have to try again and again until you get there. After all, you weren't pinned in the match, were you?”
Konrad Raab: “But I still lost the match.”
Konrad closes his eyes, doing something he hadn't done for a while, smashing his fist against the concrete wall while screaming loud and then his whole body shakes, closing his eyes as Jerry worries on the mental state of Konrad.
Jerry Flack: “Calm down.”
Konrad Raab: “No, not when I'm uncomfortable of the purse system being a cheap way to get title matches.”
Jerry Flack: “I know you're uncomfortable, but hear me out alright. This thing about the purse system, I looked it up on the charts they have, and they don't only have title contention/title matches. They have things like certain match types, challenge a wrestler for a regular match or even booking matches for Synergy. That's the point you keep missing.”
Once again, Konrad has his head up, looking directly at the wall, shaking a bit as he has his fist up once again, but drops it as he closes his eyes and breathes through his nose to calm himself down. Jerry's offer of cannabis as he grabs the rolled up cannabis cigarette up and lights up to walk into the kitchen as Jerry says this.
Jerry Flack: “Has any of those options occurred to you at any point?”
Konrad Raab: “Nope, not really.”
Jerry Flack: “Did you not know about them?”
Konrad Raab: “No, I didn't. I didn't know it was for other rewards I could do. However, I don't get why I have to pay for those things. Makes no sense to me.”
Jerry Flack: “Let me explain. The purse system according to Ichabod is something you earn with money from working your ass off in matches. They encourage people to use the money you get from wrestling in UGWC to spend it on rewards.”
Konrad puts his head down with his hands covering his face, looking at the floor as he bends his knees to the floor, still looking lost in space with what Jerry's talking about, despite blowing his cannabis cigarette with tapping ash on the kitchen floor after removing his hands from his face and he says this to remind Konrad.
Jerry Flack: “I now know why you don't want to use the money as you don't understand. I believe you now.”
Konrad Raab: “Thank you.”
Jerry Flack: “I know you have no interest in doing specialised matches unless there's an excellent reason for them and so far, there's no reason for you to challenge somebody for a match, but what about being a GM to book matches on Synergy?”
Konrad Raab: “Maybe, but if I do take that route, I will not wrestle on the show. If I were a GM for one night, I'd do something I don't think UGWC has done, let the fans vote on matches they want. Thing is Jerry; I've had experience being a general manager in WWH for a while on Inner Circle brand as the original GM got injured, so I volunteered to help out.”
Jerry had wide eyes and dropped his bag on the floor; he's baffled on the discovery Konrad made and gasps before he says this with Konrad still blowing on his cannabis cigarette.
Jerry Flack: “Wow, seriously?”
Konrad Raab: “Go and ask a lady named Paige Matthews at some point and she'd tell you what I've done over in WWH Inner Circle for a while. I helped a ton of people grow as wrestlers and got them promoted to the main roster. It was a developmental brand at the time.”
Jerry Flack: “I had no idea you've had experienced that before. Did you enjoy it?”
Konrad Raab: “Yes, I very much did. It felt good to give back to the company, and I did it because I cared about the future of wrestling, heck some of them went to become champions because of my guidance.”
Jerry Flack: “That's something you should consider if you enjoyed being a GM for a night.”
Nodding his head, it would be something he'd do again, only he turns around to Jerry and says this.
Konrad Raab: “Under one condition, I will not wrestle or have any part of the show, other than being a general manager. I refuse to be biased and hand myself things like title shots because that's not how I operate.”
Jerry Flack: “I'm sure they won't mind if you don't wrestle on your day as GM staff. However, despite you losing to Magdalena Lockhart, you have to try and try again until you reach your goal of earning an opportunity for a Cross-Hemisphere title match to defeat a champion in a non-title match.”
Konrad Raab: “Yeah, you're right, I will try over and over again until I've earned a shot at Magdalena for a title match. I learned a lot from the match and time to pick the pieces up. Wait, who am I going up against?”
Jerry shook his head as he couldn't believe what he's just heard from Konrad as he says this as Konrad finishes his cannabis cigarette to place on the floor. He squashes it with his foot before taking a seat in the living room again.
Jerry Flack: “Are you kidding me?”
Konrad Raab: “Does it sound like I was?”
Jerry Flack: “OK fair play, you've focused too much on Osmond and Autumn. You're facing against Zane and a new guy in a mask known as Wrestley McWrestleface.”
Konrad Raab: “I was impressed with Wrestley last week. The kid wrestles exactly what I'm transforming my wrestle style into a bit more, the cruiserweight style.”
Jerry smiles as at least thankfully, Konrad remembers Wrestley wrestling his first match last week as Konrad jumps around in excitement with a huge smile on his face.
Jerry Flack: “I knew as soon as I found out about Wrestley, you'd be over the moon about it.”
Konrad Raab: “Damn right I am, regarding our wrestling styles and I still feel I need to improve on the cruiserweight style wrestling as soon as possible before next month.”
Jerry Flack: “I know the match you're thinking of, and that's perfectly understandable as to why you want to test yourself in the lucha style he has.”
Although suddenly, Konrad mentions the other opponent in the match he's only just remembered with his thoughts as he picks the cannabis cigarette up and places it in the bin.
Konrad Raab: “Zane.”
Jerry Flack: “Glad you remembered, yeah Zane you know all too well about, although I know he wants to start things fresh.”
Konrad Raab: “He got screwed out of that, let me tell you. Wasn't right what happened to Zane last week.”
Jerry Flack: “Well, at least you'd know what to do in that situation. However, you need to focus on the match, not on last week's result or even the fact you're in that match elsewhere.”
Konrad places his head down with his eyes looking at the floor, although Jerry's right, Konrad's mindset was clearly on wanting to jump and fly from turnbuckles in the match, especially when wanting to be tested against Wrestley and not to ignore Zane in the match, being the biggest guy in the match.
Jerry Flack: “I know the style you want to use, but you should also use your power against Zane as it's only you that can match him and Wrestley in your wrestling style. They can't be heavyweight and cruiserweight wrestlers at the same time as you can.”
Konrad Raab: “Of course, on top of the mistakes I've made against him last time we've fought against each other. I refuse to lose, and I will make slow steps up towards facing against Magdalena in a non-title match until I reach the goal of being a Cross-Hemisphere champion, but first winning this match with a combination of both of their styles put into place is something I must do.”
Jerry Flack: “This is much better than at the beginning where you've had anger, and that anger of pressure can be used in the match, well positively than negatively.”
Konrad Raab: “I want to win, there's nothing more to it, and I will prove to Magdalena a lot more, making her watch my match to show her how badly I want to be a god damn Cross-Hemisphere title contender and fight her in a one on one match too. I need to head off to the library now, need to do my video for the match ASAP.”
Konrad grabs his laptop and dashes straight out of the door as Jerry smiles, feeling Konrad's confidence was built again, meaning he's doing his job correctly as his mental trainer. He could see the excitement of fighting Wrestley and the potential possibility of being a general manager again, being the only logical thing on the list Konrad would do, especially he had experience with the GM job.
He enters in the library and found a private room that's empty as he opens the door and closes it behind him as he starts the laptop up, sets up Wi-Fi net, sets up youtube before pressing camera plus button to click on live streaming to start talking about the match.

“I lost against Magdalena Lockheart and Dave Rydell last week. I wanted to earn my shot for the Cross-Hemisphere title, the belt I want to go for first more than other belts in UGWC, but I didn't. I will find a way to bust my ass to defeat Magdalena after learning from my mistakes and earning a Cross-Hemisphere title shot again. I'm not giving up a damn thing Magdalena, and you all know how I feel about the titles thing, not going to go over that again.
But there is one particular thing on the purse system list that did get my attention while Jerry went through the list to me, being a general manager for the night. That's something I believe I can do, considering I've had experience being one in the past when I was a GM for a few shows in a company I won't name. I enjoyed every minute of it, and it's something I will consider in the future.
However, as of right now, the only people in the way right now is Zane and Wrestley. Those guys are blocking my path to being the top wrestler. They all have different varied wrestling styles with Zane being a powerhouse type guy and Wrestley from what I saw against Holden Orson is a high flyer type guy. That excites me because I don't fit with one style of wrestling anymore, I evolved myself to be more of a Junior Heavyweight wrestler. I can wrestle in both styles.
I'm incredibly excited to wrestle against Wrestley. You impressed me a lot last week with how close you were on defeating Holden last week who's a former champion. You're a guy I need to face because the thing is, I need to start performing more of a high flying style because I can do that. For some reason, I haven't been able to show UGWC fans that I'm ready to use high flying moves.
I'm excited to see what you'll have for me and Zane, being a new kid around UGWC. You're a hilarious guy who aims to entertain people, and that's something UGWC would like. Fact is you're considered a threat because you've got way more experience of being a high flyer than I have. I only transformed to learning about high flying moves last year. However, despite that, I know and believe I can defeat you in the ring because I have to with the style you wrestle in.
Then we have the powerhouse in the match of Zane. Nothing more can be said about him, considering we've fought before and is in the Round Robin tournament. I felt you were unfairly screwed to win in the match you had last week against Travis Pearce last week when he had his feet on the ropes. That means you're going to come towards me and Wrestley with full of anger and I wouldn't blame you, although you were depressed last time we've encountered each other in a tag match.
No result will and does ever say the same because I know despite you defeating me before, doesn't mnt to say you can do it again. Do I feel you're a threat? Of course, nobody I wrestle against is a joke. Everyone, I wrestle in the ring against is threats, no matter what because what happens if I flat out trash you and Wrestley? Would make me look stupid for the things I said and likely will regret it.
I think you're more of a threat to the pair of us because you have more experience and certainly more title wins than me and Wrestley have. I don't believe in the term best which I refuse to say because nobody's the best wrestler in the world. That's a stupid claim to make, but I believe in being the top wrestler in a company, and I refuse to put myself down and not have confidence because that's what nearly killed my career.
I still know and believe in myself every time I can and will win the match because Wrestley can always come back for a win next week and so can Zane, but I need to succeed. It so happens that unlike the pair of you, I have a massive advantage of using both styles to win the match because I see the weakness and the strengths of being a powerhouse and a cruiserweight wrestler. It's only me that can combine both styles to capture that win because I can't ever see Zane flying on the turnbuckle and I can't see Wrestley lifting Zane off his feet for a suplex.
That's why I can and will win the match as every single result is so important in UGWC and I aim to overcome both Wrestley and Zane to win this match either by a pinfall or a submission for me to walk away from Chicago tonight as the winner with my arms raised in the middle of the ring. Tonight Wrestley and Zane, prepare to be Iceinated by The Iceman.”
