Forcing Konrad to talk about UGWC and the cooperative tag match. Dublin, Ireland. Friday 25th January.
It was a strange time for Konrad to come to Ireland as he never comes to the country and it's a pleasant experience for the whole day he'll have tomorrow, focusing on the Rumble match in a different company for a one-off appearance, being excited about it. However, it's a different story when it comes to the UGWC match he has.
He barely even wants to remember he has a match as Konrad's very quiet, not responding to anything about UGWC business, knowing it's just pure frustration and lacking any words to say. Although it was good, he had his wife on the road, mostly because they were in the middle of sorting out a court case of adopting Sebastian. Jerry, of course, was also on the road as well as his wife Fizz and both of them are concerned as Konrad rolls his eyes, wondering what to say as Jerry was near enough forcing Konrad to talk as he sits on his bed in the hotel room in Ireland, looking at the floor with his hands on his head.
Jerry Flack: “Come on, we have to talk about UGWC. We have to talk about the fact you're facing against Alan Wallace and Kenzi Grey twenty-four hours after wrestling in the Rumble match.”
Shaking his head like crazy as he even closes his ears and as lost as Fizz was who was patting Konrad's back while sitting on the bed next to him as she drinks some water in the cup in the hotel room they were staying.
Fizz Raab: “Is there something we don't know as to why you refuse to talk about the tag match?”
Jerry Flack: “Well I can think of a reason why it's because he's frustrated. What his concern is that he's fearing of him going to his bad side. He said he never wants to be that person ever again.”
Fizz Raab: “Oh that. Yeah, he was out of control back in his early days in his career. He was addicted to alcohol, and he was so bad that I forced him into rehab cos he wouldn't stop drinking, especially when I was pregnant at the time.”
Jerry Flack: “Oh, he didn't tell me that. I can see why he doesn't want to go back. I personally never seen him drink alcohol apart from the time he won a TV title in SCW.”
Fizz nods as she tries to do everything to get Konrad to talk, but nothing was coming out. She forces his hands away, and there's an explanation as to why. Sign of his hands being wet and she sees tears coming down on his face.
Fizz Raab: “Please discuss why you're crying right now.”
Jerry Flack: “It's clear to me that the losses he's getting in UGWC are affecting him badly. He can't keep mentioning the same things all the time on being lost in the woods. He has to find a way to move on and focus on the task at hand.”
Konrad stands up and goes in the bathroom and locks the door as it was way too much to take and it's known that Konrad needed time to himself as there are wet drops on the floor from his tears in his eyes, hiding and blocking out the noise of Fizz and Jerry talking about him.
Jerry Flack: “What's that about?”
Fizz Raab: “I don't know, but this is so concerning. After everything he's done to come so far in his mental training course, something is affecting him in UGWC to cause him to be the way he is right now.”
Jerry Flack: “I also think the whole thing about paying for title shots is getting to him as well. He's scared of losing respect for himself and is struggling to accept it.”
Fizz Raab: “Yeah he told me about that. I think he should've had a title shot by now. I mean can you go six months long not getting a title shot?”
Jerry even wonders that, although he doesn't know that Fizz was also a former pro wrestler herself, it's why Konrad got into the sport. Konrad was crying loud from the bathroom, almost screaming like he was in pain. Jerry sits there to give him room, but Fizz decides to stand outside of the door, and she knocks and says this.
Fizz Raab: “Are you alright?”
There wasn't anything, but Konrad is screaming in tears, not wanting to talk at this point. However, Konrad does unlock the bathroom door, and she walks in to see Konrad sitting on the loo in tears as she sits on his lap to say this.
Fizz Raab: “Please, come and talk to us as to why you feel like you are right now.”
Konrad nods as he stands up from the toilet and turns the light off in the bathroom before he came towards Jerry and sat with him and Fizz and finally, he comes out to discuss something still with tears coming out of his eyes.
Konrad Raab: “It hurts to know all this effort I'm putting in UGWC, well you know what I mean.”
Jerry Flack: “We understand. These tears your showing, it's down to you being frustrated. It's down to you forcing to accept something different in the company you work for. We know you've not had a solo's title shot since you joined the company, but you got to keep fighting.”
Fizz Raab: “After all, you're very different with SCW, look at the success there you've had.”
Konrad Raab: “Shame it's not the same in UGWC is it? I feel like I'm wasting time.”
Jerry Flack: “I'm going to be brutally honest here, stop putting yourself down. Find something inside of you and have some guts to take on the biggest challenge of your life. Fuck sake, do you not care about fighting a UGWC World champion?”
Konrad springs up after hearing he was facing a UGWC World Champion. Fizz nods as she kisses Konrad on his cheek, being supportive as she was to Konrad who needed help with being mentally tough which most of the time he was, but not this time around and he speaks so softly.
Konrad Raab: “Jerry, I know what you're saying, but the truth is, I wish I could have a title shot or having a title contender match without paying for one. Can you blame me for how I feel?”
Fizz Raab: “We know and understand what you're saying, but Jerry was brutally honest. You got to let things go. I know your struggling, but think if you pin Alan Wallace or even Kenzi, what would it lead you to?”
Konrad Raab: “Kenzi Grey?”
Jerry Flack: “Did you not hear about you being in a cooperative match?”
Konrad Raab: “No.”
It was good that Jerry was needed for his UGWC run more than his SCW run to be his mental trainer and it was also clear Konrad required to do training as he says this.
Jerry Flack: “I do think you need to head yourself down to the gym and train today. That's usually a way to motivate your iced ass to be better mentally. Yes, you're in a cooperative match against Alan and Kenzi with Holden Orson as your tag partner.”
Fizz Raab: “As I said, think about if you pin Alan Wallace or Kenzi Grey, what will it lead you to?”
Konrad Raab: “I'm guessing a title shot?”
Jerry Flack: “Although you sounded unsure, it was the right answer to the question. I also know it's because you're not doing enough gym work has caused you to be like this as well. I can see why you go to the gym as much as you do.”
Fizz Raab: “He's right Konrad, you haven't been in the gym since I've been with you. I know you've wanted to spend a lot of time with me and how your family is important to you, even getting the chance to see your grandson for the first time yesterday, but you do need to go to the gym.”
It occurred to Konrad; they were spot on as to why he was getting frustrated on top of the wins and losses he's got. He stands up and places his gym gear in a bag, but Jerry stops him.
Jerry Flack: “Before you go, you got something to say about Alan or Kenzi to us?”
Konrad Raab: “Kenzi, well I don't have a lot of things to say about her, to be honest as she's been so down to earth to me that I won't even dare to trash her abilities as a wrestler, but when I think about it, she's in the same spot as me. She hasn't had a title since she was the cooperative champion.”
Jerry Flack: “Alan Wallace?”
Konrad Raab: “Is someone I do not like. A very talented wrestler and an excellent one at that, but his attitude stinks. I don't like the guy because he trashes every wrestler under the moon and he wonders why he doesn't get respect? Anyway, I need to head to the gym as you both are right, me not going there has made me be like the way I am. It's an addiction.”
Fizz Raab: “But that's down to lack of time Konrad. It's down to us sorting everything we can out for Sebastian, seeing your family and spending time with me. It's good you've done those things. I don't mind if you wake up five in the morning to do gym work when you're around me, you need to go.”
Konrad nods as he kisses his wife with a smile on his face, knowing Konrad badly needed to go to the gym and he packs the rest of his gym gear in the bag and leaves the hotel room to head straight down to the gym and works out as Jerry tries to see the bigger picture towards Fizz.
Jerry Flack: “Sebastian?”
Fizz Raab: “Oh, the reason why we keep going to Germany is that we're going to adopt a thirteen-year-old kid called Sebastian. He's a kid who asked Konrad to be his dad and needs guidance as he hates living in an orphanage, and he wants to be a wrestler too. It's also why I came to Europe with him because we are fighting a court case of having Sebastian in our hands.”
Jerry Flack: “Do you think that has a part to play?”
Fizz Raab: “Not at all. He separates his private problems from wrestling. I do generally think these losses and the lack of opportunities are hurting him. I can't blame him for sticking to his morals of earning title matches by defeating a champion in a non-title match, that's the kind of guy Konrad is.”
Jerry Flack: “Anyway, I better go and see him if he's alright because it seemed like going to the gym was the motivation he needed. I make sure he doesn't overdo training and get him to come back to you. I also remind him to go again tomorrow to prepare himself for matches.”
Fizz nods, agreeing with everything Jerry said and he does leave Fizz's and Konrad's hotel room to check on Konrad. When he finally makes it to the gym, he sees a whole different Konrad; he sees him lifting weights and already smiling about it. Jerry knew it would work with how much Konrad needed to do gym work.
He does it for the next three and a half hours before heading back to Fizz to spend time with her and going off to sleep before waking up the following day to do his video for the match against Alan Wallace and Kenzi Grey in the lounge of the hotel.

Another chance potentially to be a title contender in the future youtube.com shoot.
“It's one of those days where I've been thinking real hard on what to say on both my tag partner and Kenzi Grey, mostly because either I have a lack of any history on them, or that there's nothing wrong to say and it's in that order as well.
I admit, the loss in the triple threat match was not only because Zane was the better wrestler, but I wasn't wholly focused on the match itself, especially how I'd had to prepare for it at the last minute. It's not an excuse; it's a legit fact of it all. Moving onto my tag partner. As I mentioned, I have no history with Holden Orson mainly because I've never seen him wrestle before. However I do know he's a known legend in the business and unlike the other team, there will be no beef, or at least I'm hoping there isn't going to be for us to end up getting along.
I know he's a very gifted wrestler, defeating Westley and the team of Phrixus who I still haven't had a match with and the Cross-Hemisphere champion, Magdalena Lockheart so he's on a great roll right now and I look forward to what he does in the ring.
Much like I'm looking forward to facing Kenzi once again as well. Isn't it funny how UGWC has ignored us and not getting any solo's title shot or in your case, not one for quite some time? At least you've had chances to be a champion, heck even was one with the Cooperative title with your wife. The only title shot I've ever had in UGWC is when I fought you for those belts.
I won't get into much details about it because of me beating a dead horse at this point. Point is there's no reason why I should trash you as you are one of the nicest and respected wrestlers I've fought in UGWC. Honestly, I can't say a bad thing about you, but we have the same views about title shots it seems to not cash in money for it. You believe in hard work? So do I and I'm excited to face you with the same views as each other.
If Alan Wallace doesn't get you to cheat to win, speaking of Alan, regarding his ability of wrestling, he's the top wrestler right now, of course, being the UGWC World Champion. I can't deny that to respect his wrestling ability and to defeat multiple wrestlers to get the World title is no easy feat. However, I know for a damn fact you've not been defending the title as much as you should. Tell me this Alan, have you ever attempted to defend your title on Synergy shows?
Of course, you haven't because your dominance has only come from defeating people without your title on the line. Believe me, when I become a general manager, you will be defending the belt on Synergy because I'm sick of seeing you refuse to defend your title on the Synergy shows, not bothering to defend it on consistent bases like every champion should be doing. Heck, if I were a world champion, I'd defend it every single week because unlike you, I'm a fighting champion.
As for the lack of respect people see, have you ever thought the only reason why nobody respects you is not only because you've not defended the title on regular bases, but your attitude? You're attitude of barely viewing anybody a threat, of course, doesn't make wrestlers want to respect you. You earn it not just from your skills, but from the things you say too.
You need to care more about your opponents and view them as a threat because one of these days, you will lose if you continue to overlook your opponents, like it almost cost you so many times, being a selfish man who only cares about his achievements, not what anybody else has done. Do you want to face a hungry wrestler? Boy have you got one right in front of you because I've been starving for a solo's title opportunity and if your the one who gets pinned, for sure I would've earned myself a title shot without paying for one.
I refuse to take shortcuts as you do and it won't ever happen other than proving to you I have what it takes to knock you down and teach you some respect cos right now, you need it from all the trash talk you're doing to make yourself feel good because of you being a champion.
I can win matches from not trashing people, and I'm viewed as an underdog, but I can still overcome you and Kenzi who I'm sure is craving for a Cross-Hemisphere title and Holden as well. However, there's another fact to the story about this match. I hate that UGWC staff have made this match easy for us because Kenzi and Alan flat out don't like each other and that I preferred if Alan or Kenzi would team with someone they'd get along with to make it a fair contest.
Monday night in Chicago, I will do anything to get a win that's far, and square and Alan along with Kenzi for that matter who's just as much of a threat as Alan is how starving I am for a title opportunity. Holden will recapture the war he had with Alan cos I'm sure there's history between the pair of you. Doesn't matter because me and Holden are going to pin one of you for the three count and have our hands raised in the middle of the ring. Prepare to be Iceinated by Holden and The Iceman.”
