Stressed out, but feeling wanted. Chicago, Illinois. Monday 28th January.
After Konrad encountered Ichabod, he went into his locker room, barely able to breathe with being so dizzy that he went straight to the bathroom without even seeing Jerry sitting in the locker room and you hear the coughing and splatter hitting the water for five minutes. After that, he catches his breath, even if he's breathing like crazy before he coughs and splatter hitting the water again.
You hear spitting before Konrad stands up, breathing like crazy again before he finally catches his breath without needing to be sick as he flashes the chain. Konrad gets a tissue and goes to the sink to wash his face before washing his hands with soap and drying his hands with a dryer, keeping his hands warm until he places his hands away and leaves the bathroom.
When he gets out of the bathroom, he immediately lays down on the bench with Jerry shaking in fear of wondering if Konrad's alright as Konrad looks pale and he needed to ask a question.
Jerry Flack: “Did you eat something bad?”
Konrad Raab: “No, this wasn't food poisoning vomit. I vomited white and cloudy stuff with bits of food.”
Jerry Flack: “I know exactly why that happened.”
Konrad Raab: “Well, I don't.”
Jerry Flack: “It's you having a panic attack. Is that why you couldn't talk to him when you wanted to?”
Konrad Raab: “Yes. I don't understand how it happened?”
Konrad is so pale that he wondered if Konrad could even make to another wrestling show on Wednesday night. Jerry had to leave Konrad while Konrad lays down on the bench, closing his eyes as he went to the vending machine to get a bottle of water. Jerry walks back to Konrad's locker room to give him a bottle of water and Jerry explains as Konrad's starting to feel a little better.
Jerry Flack: “It's your body's natural response to being in a stressful situation of your losses, including the one you had tonight. That's why it happened, and you've allowed yourself to get that way instead of talking to anyone about it.”
Konrad Raab: “I don't even remember what Ichabod said to me. I was feeling dizzy, and I couldn't breathe. I nearly vomited out there.”
Jerry Flack: “He said you did a nice job in the ring. You see, maybe it came on before he said it, but people want you to wrestle, people appreciate you coming out and busting your ass each week. Didn't you hear the response of the fans?”
Konrad holds his head, feeling the pain in his head from the beats he got as he couldn't remember anything other than the recent conversation of Jerry having to tell Konrad what Ichabod said to him outside.
Jerry Flack: “Come on, let's get you back to your apartment so you can rest.”
Konrad Raab: “My head is killing me.”
Jerry Flack: “We'll pick up some painkillers on the way. I contact Fizz as to what happened.”
Konrad Raab: “Does this mean I'm wanted in UGWC?”
Jerry Flack: “Yes, it does. Let's go now and drink your water as your dehydrated right now.”
Jerry waits for Konrad to take the cap off the bottle of water and drink it as he does straight away and then he gathers his clothes up and leaves the locker room to head to the chemist to get painkillers for his headache before heading back to his new small apartment.
Konrad recently brought a small apartment for a small amount of money. It has three bedrooms house with two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room as he didn't want to always stay at Mattia's all the time and needed his own space. When they get to Konrad's apartment, Konrad went straight to his bedroom and wanted to fall asleep, but Jerry places two tablets in Konrad's hand.
Konrad places them in his mouth and swallows them with water. He then puts his head on the pillow, wrapping himself warm and closes his eyes to sleep. Jerry, on the other hand, goes to call Fizz and explains the situation to her.
Jerry Flack: “It's Jerry.”
Fizz Raab: “Is Konrad alright?”
Jerry Flack: “No, he's not”
Fizz Raab: “What happened?”
Jerry Flack: “He vomited due to the stress of losses he's getting in UGWC.”
Fizz sighed as she knew Konrad would vomit this week due to how tearful he's been throughout the entire time, and you hear sobbing to know her husband has made himself sick over the losses he's getting.
Jerry Flack: “Konrad's going to be OK in the morning, he's sleeping now to recover overnight. I'm so concerned about him that if he goes to wrestle against whoever he faces next week and loses, I worry he's gonna vomit again.”
Fizz Raab: “Give it another week, and if it happens again, I'll get him to see a doctor. It might be just a one-off thing.”
Jerry Flack: “I don't think so. Anyway, I let you go, need to sleep myself. I'll chat tomorrow.”
Fizz Raab: “Alright, thank you for letting me know about Konrad.”
Jerry puts the phone down as he goes to the other room to get himself off to sleep as well after a day like he experienced today. Next morning however was a different story. Konrad got up and sat on his bed, smiling after remembering what Ichabod said to him after the match. No time to discuss it however as they had to get the flight straight to Atlanta, Georgia for a wrestling event on Wednesday night.

Alan Wallace discussions. Chicago, Illinois. Sunday 3rd February.
Another day where Jerry and Konrad only just arrived in Konrad's new apartment that's been painted since he left Tuesday with Mattia doing some favours to help Konrad settle in. Konrad didn't live far from Mattia which was good in case Mattia ran into trouble again money wise. The house was painted in red and blue colours which is what Konrad wanted with the red reminding him of his FC Koln team and blue for his Iceman persona.
Once again however despite being more settled and having more space in the small apartment, Konrad still felt the strain with Jerry fearing the same situation, before the match began with Konrad feeling extremely sweaty, barely breathing and feeling like he was being choked as Jerry says this.
Jerry Flack: “Relax Konrad.”
It was at this point, he couldn't as he rushed to the bathroom and like last week, you hear coughing and the splatter in the water, knowing the stress had gotten to Konrad again, almost like he was scared of discussing things, but thankfully unlike last Monday, it was only for two minutes. He flashes the toilet, washes his hands and face before coming out to sit down as Jerry says this.
Jerry Flack: “Konrad, I know you're very tense right now with your body responding to your stressful situation, but we have to talk about this match.”
Konrad Raab: “I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden of me being sick.”
Jerry Flack: “You're body senses that you're in danger. You need to relax, and I think doing kata karate is what you need to do.”
Konrad Raab: “Yeah, I have brought my karate gi with me.”
Konrad places his head down in shame because he wasn't able to stop vomiting due to the stressed nature of his UGWC results, affecting him so badly and Jerry who wanted to talk to Konrad to say this.
Jerry Flack: “It's a good thing you have because you're facing against Alan Wallace. Ichabod tried to help you last week, wanting to praise you for being a hard worker and recognising your efforts. I even think it's lead you to this match too for putting up such a great fight.”
Konrad Raab: “I know he did. I appreciated that, and maybe next time he does, I won't have this feeling of being sick.”
Jerry Flack: “This is a huge match for you, regardless of how Alan Wallace sees it.”
Konrad Raab: “I don't give a damn on what he'll say about me as an opponent. It's quite clear to me from what I saw and experienced in the match last week; he already treats me like I'm not a threat at all. He doesn't seem even to want to be a fighting champion either.”
Konrad shook his head, as a bit pale as he is, Jerry got a bottle of water from the fridge for Konrad to drink as he does quite rapidly to prevent him from being so dehydrated again. Jerry nods at Konrad's comments, and he says this.
Jerry Flack: “No, he doesn't at all.”
Konrad Raab: “He states he's the only person happy in the match last week. I know how untrue that statement is. I know the truth of trash talkers like him, I've been there and done that before in wrestling.”
Jerry Flack: “I think you should also focus on his skills. He seems to be an all rounded wrestler like yourself.”
Konrad Raab: “He is, and that's also exciting to me when it comes to this match that our styles clash, only his moves are more reckless than my moves are. He's almost like my twin brother in some sense on wanting to hurt people. I don't appreciate him treating me like crap last week on top of my partner stabbing me in the back.”
It was good to see Konrad smiling about the match, although there's still concerns of Konrad vomiting again, but he seems to be a lot more relaxed, taking more deep breaths in and out like Jerry recommended Konrad to do as he does for a bit, forgetting about the loss in the tag match last week.
Jerry Flack: “Forget about last week, it will only make your body worse. Think about beating Alan Wallace tomorrow night and doing everything you can to win. He's a champion yes, but it will lead you to have a title match someday. That's the target here is for you to earn one by beating a champion in a non-title match.”
Konrad Raab: “Indeed and I refuse to get title matches the other way. If I have to try so hard for years until I finally defeat a champion for a belt, so be it, but I refuse to take shortcuts to get there. It's what's wrong with wrestling these days.”
Jerry Flack: “I'd also not talk about title matches either because that's another reason why you vomited last week and bits today too.”
Konrad shook his head at Jerry as he looks on the floor, disappointed as Jerry says this.
Jerry Flack: “I'm trying to help your body. Focus on getting the job done against Alan and only focus on winning, showing that ice bite hunger you have to beat him.
Konrad Raab: “No, it's much more than hunger, it's ice bite starve is what I feel on beating this guy. I may have experienced vomiting due to stress, but it doesn't stop me from wanting to win against Alan tomorrow night and whether you like it or not, won't stop me to beat Alan to get a title shot. Beating him is all I need to do.”
Jerry Flack: “See, you can believe in yourself. I do feel you are much better than you were back in May. It doesn't seem like you can put yourself down.”
Konrad Raab: “I refuse to go back to that pathetic wimp. I'm a guy who will take anything positive, win or lose. When I lose matches, it means I'm only closer to being successful, but Alan will never get it; he will never understand that losses only help me win. He'll have to get through this ice block this week before he can defend his title at the PPV.”
Konrad doesn't have a clue about the next match, and Jerry says this.
Jerry Flack: “Defeat Alan Wallace, and you'll also defeat Dave Rydell too.”
Konrad Raab: “What do you mean defeat Dave Rydell? I'm not fighting him this week.”
Jerry Flack: “But you are at the PPV. This match is your chance to prove to the UGWC that you belong in the company and you will bust your ass with how much hunger you have, a ton of bite you have; you believe you can win the match.”
Konrad Raab: “Of course I believe in myself to win every single match because it's what got me to be a better wrestler. I will push Alan Wallace so bloody hard that he'll experience what hard work means and I'll teach him some respect for wrestlers and the business itself along with bringing that ice in me to beat him for the three count or making him submit.”
Jerry claps at Konrad's confidence and self-esteem he has, despite vomiting from stress earlier and last week. Jerry's concerned it'll happen again if he loses to Alan Wallace, but Konrad was in another phase of confidence mode. Konrad brings his laptop to his bedroom and closes it as he goes online, sets everything up before thinking how he'd approach this carefully. He presses record on youtube and speaks about his opponent.
------------------------------------------------------------------
I will do everything to be viewed as a title contender by beating Alan Wallace youtube.com shoot.
“It's clear Alan had to go and take shortcuts to take victory last week and trying to screw Kenzi over, just like the betrayal from Holden Orson to make me lose the match. Notice how me and Kenzi were willing to do everything for a win fairly, while you tried to cheat? That tells me everything I needed to know about you. Don't get me wrong; I stick by my belief on you being a talented wrestler and being a champion because you overcome few other wrestlers in a match.
But this is hard for me to be positive about you other than those things because of your overall attitude to the sport is not something I'd be proud of whatsoever. I know for a damn fact that you aren't happy. Usually, people who talk so much trash typically have something to hide like the stress of you retaining your title against Sarah at the PPV and losing to me too.
Another problem is I saw how you were willing to act arrogant and treating me like garbage in the match with your foot on me and pulling me by my ears. Isn't it funny that Kenzi did most of the work in the match, while you near enough sat by, letting her do the work? That's not how a champion should wrestle. Of course, you did some work, but not enough.
We know you're afraid of defending that title every single week on Synergy shows because you know damn well, you can't handle hard work or the pressure of being a fighting champion, unlike me if I was a champion. I defend any title I win every single week, and I will be proud of it because I will not be a champion like yourself who refuses to put it on the line on Synergy shows and wait until the PPV comes around because I wouldn't be lazy like that.
I don't care what you say to me because right now, you know you've got a starving wrestler who will do anything to get a future title shot against you. I don't care if I follow the rules, I rather beat you from pure wrestling skill than using cheap methods to win because I don't need to do that when I know I'm great at wrestling, despite you overlooking me due to you being champion.
I will never overlook any of my opponents, and everyone is a threat on who I face, but I still take you seriously, and I certainly don't need to resort to trash talking to act like I'm proud. I'm happy to say things without calling you every name under the sun. You continue to view me as a joke, you continue to see me as someone that's not a threat, but it's going to cost you to win this match because I will win if you overlook me or make a mistake, I'll pounce on it.
I will be the one having a title shot in the future. That's what this match is about, me proving to you I don't need to pay for title shots, nor will I ever do it. I believe I can beat a champion any day of the week, regardless of my records, but it only fuels my hunger up even more. I'm starving for title opportunities, and you're in the way of it right now.
I can't even call you a champion at this point because of your actions in the company and what you did last week. It's just me and you, I'm not afraid of you, why should I be? I've defeated top names of the business before, I can do it again, and it's that determination, pride and honour that gets me there. I will pin you for the three count after beating the respect out of you and have my hand up as someone that's defeated a World Champion, someone who's overcome the top wrestler of his game.
Tomorrow night Alan, prepare to be Iceinated by The Iceman as I will have my hand raised as the winner of the match. You'd then have to defend that title against me, and that's the dream I have in my mind right now.”
