Jerry finding out more of the truth of Konrad's health/tag title discussions. Chicago, Illinois. Sunday 24th February.
It's one of those days where Konrad is really busy at the gym, pushing himself to the limits, even to a point of passing out due to how desperate he is for a title opportunity in UGWC. He's running on the treadmill after lifting some weights for two hours and adding another three hours on rowing, cycling and treadmill machines with Jerry standing in the background. Konrad breathes heavily, being completely out of breath as Jerry got concerned and says this.
Jerry Flack: “You need to rest. Five hours in the gym is more than enough.”
Konrad Raab: “I'm sick of you claiming I work too much. Fact is if I don't work hard, I get nothing. That's why I'm still not getting any sort of title opportunity.”
Jerry Flack: “Maybe it's cos you won't cash in for one. I don't think it's fair, especially now with two wins over Dave and Captain Eighties you still waiting for a title opportunity. I bet even this guy you're teaming with will get a title opportunity before you.”
Konrad Raab: “I'm just frustrated. I've made myself sick because I want to work my ass off for something I want, but not getting it. Is it gonna take me a whole damn year to get one?”
Jerry hears the tone of Konrad's anger slowly seeping out as he goes to the boxing area and he didn't care at this point if he hurts his hand as he goes to punch the bag without gloves like the rules stated on the wall with him, screaming and seeping out his voice as one of the gym trainers sees this and shouts.
Gym trainer: “Put your gloves on please.”
Konrad stops to put the gloves on and then he continues to box again. He didn't want to be kicked out of a gym because he didn't follow the rules. Suddenly, Jerry gets a phone call from somebody he doesn't recognise at all. It was Konrad's doctor to discuss what Konrad talked to the doctor about which he knows, apart from one thing the doctor brought up.
When it was mentioned, Jerry dropped his mobile on the mat. He shakes his head before picking it up again and Jerry mentioning about how he didn't know anything about it. Jerry put his phone down and Jerry says this.
Jerry Flack: “That's enough of training for today. We need to talk upstairs right now what I've discovered about you.”
Konrad Raab: “We can talk later, I'm not finished punching the boxing bag.”
Jerry Flack: “You're exhausted, you're at a point of passing out. Look at you, you can't even punch straight. Give it up and leave.”
Konrad Raab: “Alright, fine.”
Sarcasm tone of voice as he wanted to continue, but at the same time, Jerry had a point, training for six hours was exhausting, but it represented how many months and how fed up he was for the title situation. Konrad picks his towel up and wipes his face and his hands on it before they walked back to the apartment, sweating everywhere, dripping down from his face to the carpet before he goes to the bathroom and has a shower.
Fifteen minutes later, he gets out of the shower and puts on his night clothes and then he goes to sit on the sofa with Jerry, being concerned as anything with Jerry still lost for words what he heard the doctor say and Jerry comes out with it.
Jerry Flack: “Why didn't you tell me you had an eating disorder?”
Konrad Raab: “I'm ashamed of it.”
Jerry Flack: “Be honest, how much have you eaten since you've started to be sick with your stress?”
Konrad Raab: “Not very much. Eating is not important to me. I've gone for three days without eating once before and I've been fine. I just don't feel hungry, I care more about getting title opportunities than my own health right now.”
Jerry knows how much of a workaholic Konrad can be, especially as of late with being in the gym longer than he should, but knows he would slack off. Konrad shakes his head on the food topic even being brought up and places his head to the ground, looking at it and Jerry also shakes his head.
Jerry Flack: “It's more important than gym work. Eating is very important. I guess that's why you're skinny as hell because you refuse to eat. Surely, you've been eating something in your system.”
Konrad Raab: “Fruit and Vegetables, yes. Nothing else is worth eating. Just leave it now. Forget you even talked to my doctor about my health. It's irrelevant to wrestling.”
Jerry Flack: “It's not if you continuously losing muscle and weight rapidly that can affect your matches. I have to force you to eat with me tonight. We're going out for a meal and you are going to eat something within your diet of being a vegetarian that's more than vegetables. Stop eating the cutting weight shit and eat properly.”
Konrad Raab: “Whatever.”
All Konrad cared about was wrestling and figuring out how to get a title opportunity in UGWC. He places his hands on his face, being so embarrassed about his doctor telling Jerry about Konrad being anorexic. It seemed like wrestling was the only thing he cared about, although Jerry doesn't want to argue with Konrad anymore about food so he decides to leave it and talks about wrestling.
Jerry Flack: “OK so you're facing against Holden Orson and Wrestley McWrestleface in a tag match with Hide Yamazaki as your tag partner. Truth been told, I don't see this match being that much of a benefit to you.”
Konrad Raab: “Well, I do because every match I wrestle in is very important. You know my thoughts of this upcoming tag match, same as always, I'm going to win the match and then advance ahead to get a title opportunity. I know the guy managing Hide Yamazaki actually. We used to work together in a Japanese company years ago.”
Jerry Flack: “He's a good manager since your tag partner can't speak English.
Konrad Raab: “But he can speak Japanese like me. I want to seek revenge on Holden for getting me pinned in the tag match. That's someone I want to face big time. I have nothing against Wrestley because he's a great guy with a huge amount of potential who will be successful sooner than later.”
Konrad lifts his head up and smiles at Jerry, knowing he's facing against Wrestley once again because of his reformed style of being a cruiserweight wrestler. Konrad jumps a bit from the excitement of facing Wrestley once again, a guy he respects and hasn't got a single problem with and Jerry understands why with the upcoming Dragonweight title match he has.
Jerry Flack: “I know you're excited about a certain match, but that's for another time as you got to focus on winning the match against Wrestley and Holden with Hide himself. One of you will win the match for the team and walk away as the winners of the cooperative match after you've destroyed Holden.”
Konrad Raab: “Of course I will, but I want to be the one to pin Holden because he's got another thing coming if he thinks he'll get away with attacking me and left me to be fed like I'm a dog because he thought he's better than teaming with someone like me. I still haven't forgotten about Alan Wallace either and I'll aim to beat him too.”
Jerry Flack: “Indeed and you can mention all of that after we've gone out to eat tonight because right now, that's what you need to do, putting more weight on you, not being skinny anymore. Let's go to a restaurant right now.”
Konrad had no choice, but to go as although in his mind, he wasn't hungry because he's already full up, but Jerry knows how strict he is, especially after finding out Konrad's eating disorder that could kill Konrad before he steps in a wrestling ring. They left the house and go for a meal in an Italian restaurant before Konrad heads home with Jerry.
While Jerry was asleep, Konrad places a tablespoon of laxative with his tea, mixing it in before he takes a sip. A few hours later, Konrad was already in the bathroom for fifteen minutes before he comes out and sets the laptop up to talk about the upcoming match.

Getting my payback on Holden youtube.com shoot.
“I'm certainly am going to do just that, getting my payback on Holden who was disrespectful to the team I was with him the last time so I suggest you move well away from Holden, Wrestley because you'll get stabbed in the back. Holden was not a trustworthy guy at all. He has all the talent in the world to be successful again and to behave to get something out of it. I don't know if you want to be a champion or not.
I have nothing against you Wrestley, you're an awesome guy who wants to be a high flyer, on top of his entertainment profile I give out praise if anything as that's a hard task to make people laugh and taking wrestling seriously. Honestly, I'm looking forward to what you'll bring to me in the ring because I'm doing everything possible to be a cruiserweight division in no time.
I also got a partner who comes from Japan, Hide Yamazaki. It's one of the very few languages I can speak. He seems to be a monster and brutalise other wrestlers, standing in his way to go on a destructive pass to hurt everyone around him. Now I don't agree with that because I don't ever want wrestlers to use illegal moves to win the match cos that's cheap. He's new and sure, he lost a match against Kenzi recently, but to be honest, who has beaten Kenzi at this point?
I'm going to win another match to my record fair and square so the UGWC management can see how much I've worked eighteen hours a week in a gym to bust my ass as much as I can to get a title opportunity because I will do anything and I'm starving just like my body is psychically to get that one chance of facing against a solo's champion and win, after I get my match against Alan Wallace and beat his ass because I don't accept anybody getting away with attacking me for no reason.
In the meantime, however, I will find a way to beat you, Holden because you cost us the match last time when we were teamed. I got a better partner who I'm sure will trust me and get the job down as much as I can, especially it's a preview for a title match. Me and Hide will advance and win the match as we are better than any of you on our team. Prepare to be Iceinated by Hide Yamazaki and The Iceman, leaving us with our hands raised in the middle of the ring. Good luck Wrestley cos you're gonna need it.”
