It's been a few months the last time Jake was backstage, but not preparing for a match. Mostly because he's always concerned how people would think of his comments, especially the controversy he caused last time to keep himself well away from backstage camera spotlight. Jake's never been a big fan of talking in front of the cameras, especially before his matches. Tonight Jake's there as he still locates himself, shooting at the targets with his bow and arrow, relaxing in the parking lot, the only place big enough to shoot bows and arrows.
Jake always does this before speaking on camera, and he doesn't realise the camera crew were there. Suddenly a cameraman had to step forward in front of the targets to catch Jake's attention which eventually worked as he places the arrows back in the plastic container and the bow on the holder as he turns to the camera and speaks.
Jake Raab: "SCW staff have wanted me getting camera time a lot the past few weeks, and they brought me here so I can get some. Problem is since the controversy I caused by many wrestlers last time when I had camera time. It affected me a lot to a point I didn't want to have camera time anymore. A lot of people asked me about the comments about Fenris made. I've grown out of addressing comments from wrestlers because as I said, it only got me in trouble and I don't want to go back to how I was again cos it caused me to lose focus on everything around me."
Jake sighs, knowing he was convinced by the SCW staff to get himself some spotlight and Jake's not a big fan of that, especially the problems he caused last time that's affected him a lot. Jake continues to shoot arrows for a while as he wasn't feeling very relaxed, more being extra cautious on what he says, being careful Jake doesn't cross any lines as he did before and continues to speak.
Jake Raab: "I know London Underground have wanted challengers for quite some time for their mixed tag titles and their frustration. I want to go for the Mixed Tag titles, but the problem is that no bombshell has come up to me on wanting to team with me. I could've made a lot more of an effort to continuously request all bombshells in SCW who aren't in mixed tag teams already if they want to win the mixed tag team titles with me, but I didn't want to be processive and repeat myself time and time again on my search for a bombshell to team with me. That request also includes the SCU bombshells as well. The offer is still open, and I'd be more than happy to team with any bombshell to challenge London Underground for the Mixed Tag Titles. I'd even go to say I should've been teamed with Candy last week because if I had lost the mixed tag match, I wouldn't have blamed the loss on Candy as Chris Crippler did, I would've blamed it on myself for being distracted."
The crowd are lost what Jake's talking about, hearing how scared Jake was to speak on camera, especially he didn't request it at all, it was SCW staff who did and them being the ones who wanted Jake here to talk. He shakes a bit, but couldn't speak for a while as he starts to shoot arrows to the archery boards. Took him five minutes for him to stop shooting as he ran out of arrows and he speaks again.
Jake Raab: "Being in a tag team with a bombshell in SCW or SCU is something I always wanted to do. With the Blast From The Past tournament coming up, I want to get the monkey off my back because every tag match I've ever had in SCW, I've lost them all and I want to get my first win of that. I know the Internet title is coming back, and there's a chance of me being in it, but the truth is, I want to team with a bombshell to go for the mixed tag titles. If I can't find anyone to team with, then I'll wait to see what comes of it if I get in the Internet title match or not, but I wait to see what happens. It won't bother me either way, but I want the opportunity to prove myself in the mixed tag division, place me with Candy against the opponents her and Chris had last week or other mixed tag opponents they'll give me and Candy, proving to Candy that she can trust a partner she doesn't know and prove to the world, I'm capable of winning tag matches. I have no problems digging your heels to face you for the belts, providing I can find a bombshell to team with me."
Then there's another factor that could be waiting for him should no bombshells as Ben Jordan mentioned on the last show as he speaks about it.
Jake Raab: "I understand Ben Jordan's frustration of nobody stepping up to him for his belt either. Everyone should want to face Ben Jordan for the SCW title, and none of you should have to wait to earn one either, especially some of you have earned a shot against Ben Jordan. I know I lost to Fenris a couple of weeks ago, showing I need to work on a few things, but I have no issue whatsoever Ben to face you for the belt. I don't care if those critics say I have to earn it, but if no bombshell wants to step up or the SCW staff don't want to put me and Candy to face against a Mixed Tag Team, I'm more than happy to face you for the SCW title, even if Fenris has earned the title shot. I will dig in your heels as well if I can't get a mixed tag match. However, I leave those two options to SCW staff what they want to do."
Jake then got cheers from the fans, knowing the whole thing with both title matches to London Underground and Ben Jordan's frustrations of lacking challengers were addressed by Jake Raab, even if Jake feels guilty for doing so. Still, he knows he has no problems stepping on the heels of the Mixed Tag and SCW champions if he could find a bombshell to team with him for the Mixed Tag titles. Jake still didn't feel confident speaking in front of the cameras, but he did his part as he collects the arrows from the board and continues doing archery in the background as the cameras go elsewhere backstage.
