Cameras go backstage as Konrad Raab stands in the interview area with the microphone in his hands and the Cross-Hemisphere title around his shoulder, giving it a tap with the crowd cheering for him. Konrad has a massive smile on his face, excited about the title defence he has against Carlson Rex. Konrad lets the crowd cheer as he drinks a bottle of water in his pocket before speaking in front of the fans.
Konrad Raab: "It's great to be here tonight, especially when it comes to defending my title for the first time both as a champion and defending a title in a hardcore match. As I said, I will not be using weapons for the match tonight because it goes against what I believe wrestling should be. If I do, it's because I have to, doesn't mean I'll be happy with that. I want to win this match against Carlson who I have a ton of respect for with being the top wrestler and being clean, none of the weapons stuff. It's been hard for me to overlook the Chaos rules situation, to be honest."
Konrad grunts on the situation he has in front of him, shaking his head in disgust, but at the same time, it doesn't take away the fact he's happy on defending his title.
Konrad Raab: "Carlson Rex didn't say a whole lot about me or the title he wants to win, and I'm not sure why. Has a ton of respect for me, but where was the aggression of how badly you want to win the title? Where was the reason for wanting to be a champion? That I'll leave for you to answer because I've answered all those questions when I challenged Ruby for the Cross-Hemisphere title. I ticked off the box, and it got me right here, standing with the title on my shoulder. I hope I'm proven wrong and that you'll come out with everything, but the kitchen sink because I will be and be just as desperate to retain the title."
Crowd cheer for Konrad as he had to move on the next thing he had to address.
Konrad Raab: "While I got the hype for tonight's match out of the way, Dave Rydell caught my attention about his comments on wanting to go for the Cross-Hemisphere title. Didn't you hear what I said last week, Dave? That I'd be willing to defend this title against anyone, whether on Synergy or PPV matches. How many champions have walked here and wanted to commit on defending their title on Synergy shows? Not many and that's the level I'm willing to bring this belt. I'm not afraid of defending the title against you and accept all and any challenges coming my way, including yours. That goes out to everyone by the way. I don't know why you think differently about me and why you don't trust me. I defended a title in one company for nearly a year until it closed down and guess what? I still have the title that I never lost during my time. I defended it every month, but I'm stepping it up to defending the belt twice a month. Just because you defeated me before, doesn't mean it'll happen again cos I defeated you before too. Something you keep forgetting."
Crowd cheer for Konrad, making his quest on how badly he's willing to defend it against anyone who opposes him. He pats the Cross-Hemisphere title to the camera.
Konrad Raab: "There's something else on my mind, something I've heavily neglected because I was more focused on this title, Outlast tournament. I've not said anything about it, so I take the time to mention that too. I couldn't be more proud of being apart of Alex Kiseragi's team with my opponent tonight and Lucy on the team, although I've kicked myself for letting Lucy down in the past. Still, I'm delighted to meet up with them at the weekend to discuss plans for the tournament and how one of us will win the UGWC title from Sebastian. I would love to win the UGWC title and if I do I know I'll have a tough decision to make on what title vacate. Now I have to go and prepare for my title match against Carlson Rex. See you all later."
Crowd make a massive cheer, chanting Raab's name for a bit as he raises the title above his head before walking to the locker room for the next match to take place on Synergy show.
