Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Thursday 25th May.
Lord Raab had been frustrated due to not being booked for a wrestling match in almost two months. While he had amateur boxing and MMA to fall back on and did a few fights due to boredom at his headquarters and not having much social life, he knew he needed to get back into wrestling. Raab's standing in an alleyway, having metal barrels of red flames lit up that he just did two minutes ago.
Lord Raab: "I got tired of sitting at home and not being booked for a wrestling match. Two months without any reason, I got stopped from wrestling in XWF. Didn't let me know or give me notice. To hell with them, and Level Up are still on hiatus for some goddamn reason. So there was only one company I could join, or rather a company my twin brother recommended me to join as he knew I needed the spot more than he did, International Championship Wrestling."
There were going to be moments when although Raab still hadn't gotten out of the phase of being hated by the boos he was used to getting, he was still getting to know himself in reality. He looked intensely at the camera.
Lord Raab: "I'm The Masked German Monster, Lord Raab. I've won many titles in other companies that aren't in the ones I've named, and I aim to pick up business here in ICW. I'm thankful my manager, Henry Losak, did the wise thing of having me sign a contract to this place because there wasn't anywhere else I could've gone. Anyway, I'm here now, and I will start wrestling in ICW with my first opponent in this company, Rick Man."
There was a smirk on Raab's face, more because the name disgusted him, and he hadn't started talking about him, or rather what there was to talk about, considering, like Lord Raab, he's also new to ICW.
Lord Raab: "Oh, a wrestler I've seen too much of around the wrestling business. A generic British wrestler. I don't know anything about you, so I can't give you credit, especially since I don't know if you have experience or anything of a sort. You never said, but all I can go by is you're a typical British wrestler that thinks you can hit hard and use all the technical moves. Sorry, but you won't experience that with me. I can freely admit I don't know who the fuck I am outside the ring. But apart from two companies, I've won titles everywhere I've gone, and the only thing I do with my life is doing amateur MMA and boxing fights and being a professional wrestler."
Breathing in and out after what he said. The mask was the one thing Lord Raab knew he had to get straight when it came to what he wore to the ring.
Lord Raab: "Oh, you might think, there's this big monster wearing a mask. Well, for your information, idiot, the guy that wore this mask saved my goddamn life. When I was about to commit suicide, I sneaked into Koln Arena; it was called back then and saw him wrestle. He gave me many wrestling lessons, and I lived with him. After I had done all the training, unlike you, that could easily get into wrestling schools, there was nothing like that in Germany. I had to fly to America to use my brother's name to get in the business, and then we got arrested for fraud, only to find out we were twins."
Raab knew he had to calm down a bit with the swearing, but he only remembered he was still getting used to being liked by the fans.
Lord Raab: "I don't know what you'll say to me, but going by a name like Rick Man only makes me not want to take you seriously already. I know you're a guy dating a female wrestler and getting married soon; there's nothing wrong with that, but it will hold you back. I'm all alone here because I've been a wrestler alone nearly all of my life. Sure, I had Samuel as my tag partner, but he hasn't been interested in returning to the ring. Wrestling is the only thing I want to do the rest of my life."
He paused for a little bit as he breathed in and out. He saw a few people trying to get attention on camera without Lord Raab doing anything, which scared him a bit.
Lord Raab: "I was a vicious, nasty man that wanted nothing more than to hurt people, but I don't want to do that anymore because I know I have to change, and that's hard for me to understand the human being I am. I don't know what it's like to be human, and that might be something you have greater than me. But just because I'm trying to change out of the ring, when it comes to me being a wrestler in the ring, that's not changing. I'm a monster in the ring that beats the hell out of everyone around me. I only hurt people if they deserve it."
It was still hard for Raab to do the video because he didn't know who he was, and Henry whispered in Raab's ear, telling him he was meant to be loved. Raab nodded and went straight back on camera.
Lord Raab: "I know you'll give me a tough fight. I know you'll take me down at some point, but you aren't winning this match by a long shot. Because while I may have wrestling rust due to being away from wrestling for two months, none of my own doing. I've been training ever since I accepted the ICW contract. My goal is to be competitive again, caring about winning titles and being the top wrestler because I don't believe any wrestler is the best. I know it's your goal too, but do you have what it takes to be a champion that will give other wrestlers a competitive nature? Would you wrestle with the title on the line every show? No, you'd be too arrogant to do such a thing."
Of course, it was to be determined if Rick Man was arrogant, but it didn't matter as Raab looked relaxed on camera as he was reminded what he was meant to be doing.
Lord Raab: "I know you've not said anything yet, but I came here to wrestle, and I do my job of doing so because I love this sport, and it's hard for me to sit on the sidelines and watch everyone wrestle. But not here. I will show you the kind of wrestler I will aim to be as I said, I'm still learning about myself. I can learn more about myself when I wrestle you. I may make mistakes in the video, but that won't matter when I go out there and win as a monster-destructive wrestler. You're British wrestling style is no match for this unpredictable monster. No match for me because many wrestlers have heard the name Raab, but nobody has heard of Rick Man in wrestling. I will beat the hell out of you, and you can't do anything to stop me when I pin you for the three count or make you tap out. Prepare to be Raabinated by The Masked German Monster."
Raab laughed as he didn't know much, if at all, about Rick Man as he decided to end things there.
